Vers-Airedale-ity!!!

I think I told you all awhile back that my mom sews for the Airedale quilting bee. Well, the bee ladies have created another stunning quilt. This time it's being raffled at the Week of the Airedale (WOTA) on March 31st. Mom's block represents the therapy Airedale as he helps a senior citizen in a nursing home. If you click on mom's name - Sue Senerchia- you can actually see me and mom together smiling for the camera! Hey Simba, we got a mom and furkid pic too! hehehehe.

The whole week of events take place in Ohio and although we won't be there physically we'll sure be there in spirit and we're hoping like heck that we win this beauty of a quilt. WOTA is lots of events. Dogs will compete in the field retrieving and hunting. They do obedience and agility and there's even a parade!
Maybe next year we can make it! It sure does sound like fun!

Here is the link so you can all see the bee's handi-work: http://www.airedalerescue.net/wota/index.htm

Enjoy!

Until next time.................

Love ya lots,

Maggie

  4. Quilting is evil.

It keeps Moms hands busy and then they cannot pet us.

Please do not tell my Mama about quilting.

  11. Maggie,
Mum & I want that quilt BAD! Mum wishes she could quilt like that but her mum lives too far away in Texas to be able to teach her! I bet you have lots of nice blankets to sleep on!

  13. Once again my mum is in awe of your clever, clever mum. It's a cute photo of the 2 of you, though looks like you weren't too keen on posing!

I hope the quilt raffle raises heaps of money.

  15. wow--what a great idea for a fundraiser! all those aires on a quilt will keep someone warm and snug. but i agree with chelsea. i'm glad my mum is completely worthless when it comes to crafts so she can use her hands for petting me!
