Our Morning Ritual

We go for walkies every single morning that the weather is decent. This morning we ran into Emma! Boy, how she has grown! She came racing full speed out to greet us! Mitch was one happy boy to see her again!
Mom didn't have her camera! Darn! We'll be prepared next time!

When we get back home I always go in the house with mom while she does a chore or two and Mitch goes to the workshop with dad. In a short period of time, we're all reunited.
Our morning ritual starts off with bitey face, then we have water, then a snooze and then it's bitey face all over again. Mitch looks pretty fierce here huh - sorta like a rabid dog!

We actually had a great morning. We played together and actually got quite chummy. Mom has been waiting for us to sorta share a bed. Yea right ma! That's gonna happen!

This is as close as we got today! I've even got raspberries going for the camera! HAHA!Mom says we're holding hands in this picture! Not true! Mitch has my ball and I want it!

Mom says we're cheek to cheek here! Nope, I'm trying to outfox him so I can steal my ball back!

So now we're nose to nose. Wrong again! We're pooped - both of us! It's been a very active morning. We're both waiting to see who will instigate activity first!

We're both exhausted but not too pooped for a friendly game of tug! BTW, I won!

Can you see Mitch's collar in this picture? It's my official Airedale collar! Mom is letting him wear it and it fits! Mitch is now a whopping 28 pounds! He grows daily!

That's pretty much what we do in the mornings when we're inside the workshop. I can't wait till the weather gets nicer so we can play outside!

Until next time.................

Love ya lots,

Maggie

  4. Maggie, I have a ball just like that and I don't think I would want to share it.

Unless ofcourse a rabid looking dog wanted it.

Yikes, Mitch better have a rabies shot! He looks kinda scary.

  13. Maggie - I think you secretly love Mitch...and that's OK! I wish I had a brother or sister to keep me company, and get in trouble with!

I can't wait to play outside either. The snow has finally melted around my backyard tether, and I am so excited!

  16. These pictures are adorable - they remind me a lot of our Airedale Chief and Herbie the welsh terrier. Chief lives at our retirement place in Arkansas and Herbie lives with me in Illinois. They had their bonding period together when they were little and are the best of buddies. Chief is probably the best dog we've ever had! He's a great big brother, and resident clown. I'm going to have to start a blog for him too!
You can see some pictures of him on herbie's blog http://www.herbieblog.com which also has links to his dogster page.
I'm going to add a link back to your blog on my blogroll!
    Well done!

  20. It's pretty awesome how nice you are to Mitch. I understand the deceptively sweet cuddling photo. My sis and I often share the same bed but the truth i we're really having a battle of will to see who get the bet bed.
