Cabbage Patch Twins

Mom and dad are going to a birthday party on Saturday for a little girl who's going to be three years old. This morning they were out shopping for a gift and they came home with twin Cabbage Patch dolls plus the wrapping paper to wrap them in. Mom put all of the stuff on the dining room table with the intention of getting to it later on today. Mitch took a HUGE interest and decided that this was something that he needed and wanted!

Mom was making lunch in the kitchen and Mitch was making such a commotion in the dining room that I had to go and see what all the fuss was about! OMG, it wasn't the dolls that he wanted - it was the wrapping paper!
Well, thank goodness! For a minute there I thought my little brother was a sissy who wanted to play with baby dolls!

Hey, those are pretty cute dolls! I love their pretty pink dresses! Maybe I could play with one of them before you wrap them up mom! What do you think? Can I?
Okay, I've heard enough barking, Mitch. Time to go beg for some tuna and walnut lunch!
I would sure hate to think that my little brother would really want to play with dolls!
So until next time..................
Love ya lots,
Maggie

  4. Yo Mitch...I got up on the chair at the table yesterday and SNATCHED....mmm...Mumsie's memory stick for her camera. Wow...did that get the Barter System Game going...She nailed me right in the head with a piece of Swiss cheese. I forked the memory stick over immediately....Cheese rocks. I think Lacie might be sweet on you, Mitch...she's shy.....

  11. Hey Maggie. It is OK if Mitch wants to play with Dolls. It does not make him less of a boy. Doesn't he like stuffies? Would it be so different. I, Gus Dagger, have a clown doll that I hide from Teka and take to work with me. I practice being a dogdad with it. Maybe Mitch wants to be a dogdad too.

  17. Oh Mags, you know, I don't know, those dolls looked very, ummmm, edible. I guess I don't care if my chewies are male, female or neutral or anything else.

As long as I can knock the stuffing outta them.

I guess it was a good thing for the human child though that Mitch didn't go for them!

    Chow for now,

  34. Hey Maggie, you could have so much fun with those dolls. Chuck them up in the air a few times, shove them in dusty corners, shake 'em shake 'em shake 'em. You'd have them looking suitably dog-worn in no time at all.

  44. Maggie & Mitch,

Thank you so much for checking out my blog. I've been a fan of yours for quite awhile. Mitch, I sure understand your interest in the paper. I've been known to eat my fair share of wrapping paper, notebook paper, computer paper...well, you get the drift. I hope you got some of that yummy lunch!
