Mitch Meets Peter the Pumpkin

Mitch met his first pumpkin today! He was scared to death of it! hehehe

He thought sniffing it from the back porch would be safest just in case he had to hightail it into the house quickly!

I think he realized that Peter wouldn't bite him so he moved in just a wee bit closer so that he could investigate further! I think he's trying to strike a deal here - I won't hurt you if you don't hurt me!

Here he is in action!

And this is a small pumpkin! Wait till he meets Peter the Great!

Till next time......................

Love ya lots,

Maggie

  3. Good job Mitch!! You can never be too cautious around pumpkins. I heard they can turn into things, like carriages and Jack-o-Lanterns. Never trust a pumpkin, Mitch.

Thank you Maggie, for your kind words about my blog. Your blog is great, too.

I will try to do a better job of keeping in touch. My secretary was down for awhile and I am dependent on her. Things are finally back to normal.

  4. Maggie,

Haha! So funny he's afraid of the pumpkin! Can't wait to see his jack-o-lantern response.

And of COURSE we can still be friends even if your dad loves the Giants. After all, it IS just a game (and an opportunity for great snackables!) Can't take these things TOO seriously! Except for the snackables. I take those very seriously.

    wally.

  5. Mitch: Way to go Guy. Kill that pumpkin before it gets bigger. Some of them turn into things like Pumpkin Pies................Ohhh wait a minute Mitch, you gotta be NICE to that pumpkin and not scare it OK? Then maybe you will get pie!

  6. Oh Mitchy...that thing looked horrifying. I've never seen one yet! I've heard if you kill it and make it into pie, it's a vast improvement. I think it's only going to get worse as Halloweiner Dog gets near.

    Kisses!!

  18. What a big manly bark! I still sound like a silly wee girl.

Never trust a pumpkin. My parents gave one to the sheep a few years ago and it killed one. So traumatic.

  19. Hahaha! Mitch, I am the same way with things like that. Like, for no reason I'll start barking at a lemon on the counter or a random toy on the floor.

You have a very big bark! Mine sounds so small next to yours ;)

  32. Hey Mitchie, I think you and I have a lot in common. Not just that super sniffing sound -- but the need to be very very very careful about anything in our line of vision that is NEW. Better safe than sorry I always say!!
