Frozen Treats

We had frozen treats to enjoy in dad's workshop yesterday! Mom mixed together some peanut butter and yogurt and tossed a few of Keeley's treats in there and then she grabbed our marrow bones that we licked clean. She put a piece of duct tape on one end and spooned the yummy mixture inside the marrow bones and put them in the freezer! What a treat this was! I grabbed mine so fast that the camera didn't even catch a shot of me! hehehe Mitch didn't waste any time either!
Boy, we thought the marrow bone was good with all the meat goodness! This is pretty darn tasty too! I was so overly anxious to get at it that I didn't even enjoy it on the nice comfort of my workshop bed! The floor and fireplace hearth were good enough!

Mitch didn't feel the same way! He took his treat over to his bed where he could eat on a softer surface!
Dad's buddy, Phil was here and about 10 minutes after we got our bones the boys decided to go on a road trip to the lumber yard! There was no way that Mitch wanted to miss out on the trip but no way he was leaving his bone so he grabbed it and waited in front of the door so they wouldn't forget him!

Dad didn't take Mitch this trip and Mitch believed that dad would come back for him so he parked himself right in front of the door with his bone to wait!

These treats sure were yummy and they took us over an house to enjoy. Check out my beard! It got a wee bit greasy! It was sure worth it though!

For all you doggies that love to eat poo - we heard about a possible cure for you and this one sounds like a winner!

This one particular lady gives her doggies one Fig Newton every single night after their dinner and no more poo eating at her house! This sounds like a darn good deal to us! Let us know if it works for you if you try it out, okay?

Update:

We ALMOST FORGOT!!!!!!RABBIT RABBIT!!

We tag: Ruby, Mr. T-Bone Beasley, Maya and Kena, and Kirby!

In our new house, there's a tradition. On the first day of every month the first person to say RABBIT RABBIT gets a kiss from everybody and everydog! SO we're waiiittttingggg!!!!

See how many people you can tag!

So until next time..........

Love ya lots,

Maggie and Mitch

  6. Maggsie Girl!

You and Mitch have it MADE! Your barn looks even comfier than most peoples' houses. And those homemade frosty paws INSIDE a marrow bone? Was your mama trying to put you in a pleasure coma? Sounds divinely tasty!

Mitch knows the routine, obviously. He and your dad are as tight as you and your mama, so it would seem.

Goober love & peanut butter smooches,
    Stanley

  11. You two are just too cute with your marrow bones! Mom needs to get some more for us so we can try them with frozen treats inside. Penny and Pockets1 used to eat each other's poop, but Mom got something from the vet to put in their water. It worked! Once Pockets1 went to the bridge, Penny didn't eat poop anymore. Maybe Pockets1's poop tasted really good and mine must NOT!

    Aire-hugs,

  12. We are drooling just hearing you describe the marrow bones frozen treat - your mom is so good to you 2. Rosie has a problem with poo eating, and mom puts S.E.P. in our food to stop it - it contains a natural substance that makes the poo taste bad, so she's wondering if the figs do the same thing, and may be cheaper. Tastes good going down but yucky the 2nd time around. Thanks for the tip Maggie and Mitch
