Bruce's Barn Raising - the Second Day

Hi everybody! It's me again - Mitch! I went with mom to the barn pawty this afternoon because it was raining and Princess Maggie can't stand to get her royal paws wet! Wetness doesn't bother me and getting a little bit damp was well worth it! Take a look at how far the NTF'er's got on Bruce's barn!

Half of the barn is closed in with siding and the Weatherwatch is on the roof! Bruce is ready for shingles! Aren't they the fastest guys in the west?! You can see the tables set up inside the barn already just waiting for people to carry in lots of loaded down plates of FOOD!
I met a new friend! I didn't catch his name but he was a whole lot older than I am. He was nice in the beginning but after he got to know me better all he wanted to do was mount me! grrrrrrrr Aren't you glad you didn't come, Maggie? I spared you all of this aggrevation! You can thank me later!

Look at all this food and all of these nice people! Am I ever glad that I braved the rain drops and came!
Mom had lemon chicken and lazanne on her plate and she shared with me! Thanks, mom!
And dad was only too happy to share some of his Sam Adams with me! THANKS DAD!!!!

Check out what's right behind me! You all heard that I chewed the tap off the beer keg at our Celebration of Life pawty in February, right? Should I do it again and make all of these people rush over to stop the geyser?! haha

Mom said the best part of the pawty was the piece of homemade rhubarb pie that she had and she shared some with ME! I sure do love barn raisings!

So until next time.............

Yer friend,

Mitch

What a wonderful reporter you are ...you should go to all the barn raisings - with you press pass and photographer (Mom) - looks like everyone is only too willing to mingle with you!!!!

Pie - Beer what a combo ....yes, you should have kicked the PAWTY of with a little KEG RAISING of your own....

Thank you and your Mom & Dad for sharing ....we don't see alot of barn raising here in Texas.....

Mitch,
Watch out for the big black dog. He looks like he is up to no good. Turn around and nip his nose.
You guys worked really fast doing that barn and I bet faster on the food and beer. All in all a great time.

Errr...lemon chicken? Sam Adams? You are the luckiest Dale! We had a good weekend but we only got pizza bones...ya know the crust! No Lemon Chicken or Sam Adams! Though, Roy Al got to have a watermelon martini one time....was it good? The beer we mean?

Well looks like you had a great time and that your hoomans were a big help.

Maggie, don't feel bad about not going, I bet you go next time...the thingy is about goin' on bye-bye's is dat we G-Dales now got worry about which one will go and which 2 will stay. Mumsie alweady said when Lola dale comes, 1 of us will go wiff her and 2 of us will stay home and play....sh says that will be the beauty of 3.

Anyhow...dis is gweat news Mitchy...you were out there proliferating your Daleness around town and showing all what a good boy you are....Thanks for representing!

Those barn tingymabobs sure do wook wike fun....

Nose pokes to you both!

Ahhh, yes. We here in GooberStan also revere Mr. Adams. He is always welcome here. I'm glad that your dad cares enough about your beer education to share with you.

That barn raising looks like it's a blast and the people are almost as good as all that food! Tell Maggsie she can brave the wet for all that fun next time.

Bummer about the humping old fart dog. Some dudes just can't help themselves.

Goober love & smooches,
Stanley
