November Update On Our Beards

It's that time again to get out the ruler and measure our beards to see how much they've grown in one months time! This is for Stanley and Stella's beard competition - you all know about that right?

I hate to say it but my beard is still at 4" and that's if you include the wispy fly-away hairs! I guess the avocado treatment isn't working that Autumn recommended! We need to put her to work finding one that's successful!

Mom always has a problem trying to measure Mitch's beard! All Mitch ever wants to do is play and have fun! He seems to think that this is what life is all about!

Be serious for just a minute, Mitch, okay?! There you go! It's 3 inches! OMG, your beard grew 3/4" Mitch! How did you manage to do that? It's the apple juice, isn't it? That must be your secret!

That does it! I'm off to find myself a whole bushel basket full of apples!
And make myself a nice apple bath and soak the day away!

I want to see at least 1/2" by December 1st!

Our friend, Happy, honored us with this beautiful friendship award! Thank you so very much, Happy!

We would like to pass it on to our dear friends, Putter and Hercules and Petra.

So until next time...............

Love ya lots,

Maggie and Mitch

  1. Maggie, we hope the apple bath works for you! It must be working for Mitch! We won't be able to enter the contest because our beards were all just trimmed really short. Boohoo! We had such a great time at the pawty!

  5. Hi M&M,
    Congrats on the Awards.
I loved the cupola raising video in the previous post, what a terrific work.
I think you'll win the beard contest, 4" is pretty long to me. How you manage for it not to dip into your food bowl?
Please come see me when you have time, I love to share my double dating story.
    Cheers!

  9. Thanks so much for the friendship award, Mitch and Maggie! Those little coffee mugs make me feel warm all over.

I hope those apples do the trick; December 1st is 28 days away! In addition to the apple bath, you should probably be eating apple pie and apple crisp and carmel apple ice cream to promote the growth!
