We have Ten Inches of Snow!!!

It snowed here on Friday! It started around noon and kept on going! We ended up with 10 inches and it's just beautiful! Mitch was leaping through the snow and he wanted me to keep up with him and at my age it just wasn't happening! I prefer to sniff the snow trying to find some decent smells!Mom kept us off the road because cars were slipping and sliding and she didn't want them slipping and sliding into us so we checked out the brook at the edge of the pond! Mitch just couldn't stop plowing his face through the snow! What did you find under the hedges, Mitch? Anything interesting that I need to know about?!We have some disturbing news to share! These are all of our Christmas cards so far from all of our DWB buddies! Aren't they beautiful! We love each and every one of them! Thank you so very much!

Mom decided to count all the cards this afternoon and see who was ahead! Here's the score - Maggie and Mitch - 68 cards! Mom and dad - 41 cards!

We find this very distressing! The mailman delivered 3 cards today and they were for the hoomans! We're beginning to get nervous that mom and dad might be more popular than we are and we can't have that happen! So everybody cross your paws that mom and dad don't pass us and end up with more cards than we have! We'll keep you posted!

So until next time...................

Love ya lots,

Maggie and Mitch

  1. Haaa we're miles ahead of our pinkies in the card race though they aren't doing too badly. Not near as many as your pinkies.
So many of our maties have snow. We dont even get it in our winter time...what's the deal with that? On the rare occasion it does snow here it doesn't even stay on the ground....what a jip!

Stay away from slipping cars maties.

  2. Your snow looks like loads of fun! I think we would plow our faces through it too...don't know for sure since we've never had enough to try it! I bet it really makes it feel like Christmas!

Our pawrents are waaaaay behind us in the card department too. We have 86 and they have 5. Heehee! It could have something to do with the fact that our mom hasn't sent out any cards to hoomans in about 4 years!

Enjoy your snow and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

    Aire-hugs,

  15. Ten inches of snow!!! That's wonderful news!! I am so happy for you. You got way more snow than we did. Even though we got more last night, we are still not close to ten inches! Have fun in it while you can. It's supposed to warm up soon.

As for the cards, you will be getting at least one more in the mail, probably tomorrow. That should help you to maintain your lead.

    Love and Koobuss Kisses,

  21. We are so far ahead in the card race they can never catch up unless they send a bunch of cards to themselves. Don't worry-hoomans don't have a chance.
We have 10 inches of snow also. It is everywhere.

  23. Are you sure all those cards are really for mom and dad? Hard to believe they have more pals than you two.

Did you go snow crazy? Its hard not to. Did your beards get all frozen? I hope they don't snap off or anything because that might affect your standings in the growing contest.

  35. Hi, Maggie and Mitch -

We got six inches of snow on Friday. Yesterday we got snow in the morning which turned to rain. Now we have some spots that are icy - not fun. We're not sure what Kaci got for snow in NH - Mama, Papa and I will be going to see her for Christmas!

I would give just about ANYTHING to be able to romp in the snow with you two! OUr snow all got washed away and it's just booty-freezing cold here now (windchill at -20). Brrrrrr.

You will have at least one more card... from us. Our lazy girl is just now getting the first batch mailed. I'm so embarrassed for her.

You guys stay warm and keep plowing and tunneling through that snow!

    Goober love & smooches,
