Travis's Blog Review Monday

Travis is still working out the bugs for his blog review for this week so we thought we'd surprise him and do a blog review on his blog!
We have not known Travis long at all! We only met him a couple of weeks ago but we've fallen in love with his blog already!
Travis is a 4 year old boy who has a very vivacious appetite for the strangest things, he's scared of thunderstorms, he pulls his hoomans on walkies and he failed puppy school! He sounds like a normal doggie to us that just wants to have a lot of fun in life! He runs fun polls on his blog all the time and he is already a great friend of ours! You just gotta meet Travis! He's awesome!

Mom had to run to the bank Friday morning and she took us with her! This bank gives out the most awesome treats! Guess what? Not only did the bank run out of treats, which totally broke our hearts, but the stoopid bank teller asked mom if we were Wheaten Terriers? WHAT??!! We have nothing against Wheatens but we're black and tan! GEEZ!

So until next time.......................

Love ya lots,

Maggie and Mitch

  3. Hey there M&M...this weekend in Oxford (MS) one person wanted to know if I was a wheaten. But mostly people ask if I am an airedale! I say NO! I am just a substantial wirey fellow. Old folks are good though. They all had one just like me when they were growing up.

  4. Hi Maggie & Mitch!

Wheaten Terriers? I think that bank teller was confused... and no treats?! 2 strikes for her! :)

I am on my way to go meet Travis!

  5. Haha - perhaps he thought you were wheaten terriers that had fur-transplants on your back? BOL!

You look nothing like wheatens. But.. on the other hand.. mom once had to argue with a guy who insisted I was a boxer puppy (at 4 years of age). Hoomans brains don't work so well sometimes!

  6. Hi Maggie & Mitch

Little man's Mum get asked all the time if I am a rather large Wheaten terrier which drives her mad. But few people around here seem to know what a Goldendoodle is!!

    Too bad about the treats!

  9. Travis sounds like an interesting kid and we're gonna go check him out. we like to make new friends.

the lady at mom's coffee stand always gives us cookies and we get so excited when we go there. we all stand on mom's lap and stick out heads out of the windows to get our treats. it would be a catastrophe if the coffee lady ran out of cookies for us. we bet you were heartbroken and confused at the bank. obviously, the bank person was not too smart about beautiful dogs!

    woofs.

  15. Great blog review! I'm going to go check out Travis' blog right now. I can't believe that the both of you were mistaken for Wheaten Terriers! I'm always mistaken for other breeds or a mix since my breed isn't very well known, but I can't believe anyone could mistake the very distinctive and gorgeous Airedale for anything else!

  23. Maybe a bunch of Wheaten terriorists stole all of the bank's treats, and they were trying to see if you two were possible suspects?

  26. Our bank drive-through ran out of doggie treats a while back and never got them again. The last time the teller said, "What a cute dog." As if that makes up for it!

    See ya!

  29. HAHAHAHA well at least she didn't call you two BASSET HOUNDS. Madison is still fuming over that one. Why can't dog-challenged humans just ASK. Why do they have to GUESS? We'll go visit Travis. He looks like a naughty influence, a "bad boy" and Madison has a soft spot for bad-boy types.

  35. Travis is one very cool doggie! He sounds like he could be an honorary Husky! We think he meets all the qualifications.

We are amazed how few peoples know what an Airedale is! We've had peoples ask if we are Giant Schnauzers.

  41. Oh, Travis looks like FUN!

And at least the lady had a *guess* about what kind of dogs you guys are. Most of the time I get, "What is THAT?! A dog?"

Deflates my manly ego a little bit.
