True Colors Thursday - Navy

It's true colors Thursday once again!
If you'd like to play, drop by Blue's blog and let her know! It's a LOT of fun!

Today's color is navy!

Mom's Salmon Falls pottery sugar bowl has navy on it!
These blueberries look navy to us!Dad's RedSox cap is navy! This is a Carol Usher original Woolie sculpture! It's called "Day's End"! The sweet elderly lady is actually Carol's hubby's mom, who has since passed on and the Airedale resting on the sofa with her is Jesse, Carol's dog in real life! The one at her feet is a mini-Dale that mom won on ebay!
Mom sprays our doggie grooming clipper blades with Kool Lube after she cleans them and then she packs them away for the next time!
This is a felted purse that mom made for Cousin Norma! And that would be Norma's parakeet pet that mom needlefelted on the navy purse!
This is another one of mom's felted purses! She used to crank them out left and right but now she's knitting socks and it's taking her FOREVER!
Next week's color is peach!

So until next time..............

Love ya lots,

Maggie and Mitch

  20. Wow, that's a lot of navy! The lady on the couch is a little scary to me. I can't say "Go Red Sox" because I'm more of a Yankees and Phillies guy myself. I'm sorry.....

  28. Heya Maggie & Mitch (cool Sox hat guys - GO BOSOX - Yankees create areas of low pressure and vacumn)

Boy are youse guyes screwed up. Our dad was in the navy for 25 years and he's worked for the Navy for 21 years since he "retired" after the 25 he was in the Navy He has shown us pictures of his Navy ships and Navy planes and none of them are that color y'all say is Navy. The first jar is a Navy color, but not the blue part, the other part's color, it's like the navy color of the ships and planes. Remember, if it isn't printed on a Wonder Bread wrapper it isn't a real color.
