Our New Fancy Dishes

Look what mom bought us at Petco yesterday!
Our other once were showing signs of rust around the bottom and mom didn't like that so she tossed them!
These are much higher and pretty easy to eat out of! Gosh, we barely even have to lean over!
Yes, we are eating in a fireplace pit! We have 2 fireplaces in our kitchen and we've never used either one of them since we've lived here and it's been over 25 years! My crate used to be right in this exact spot and it stayed here for years until mom finally decided that I really wasn't using it anymore and put it away! Our food and water bowls used to hang off the side of my crate but once it was gone, mom had to come up with an alternative plan!
She even got Mitch's brakefast bowl to work although it really doesn't slow him down much!
That boy eats way too fast and mom is always quick to remind me that when I was younger, I did too!
Thanks, mom! You made it much easier on an older girl like me!
We love our new fancy dishes!

So until next time.............

Love ya lots,

Maggie and Mitch

  1. how cool - you have the same tall borls I do - even the same color. Mom had to get me one of those because the long fur on my chest was always getting in my food. It makes it so much easier to eat and drink from.....glad you back from vacation.

  10. Very nice looking dishes out there, and if they make eating easier, WOW! Isn't mom the caring one? I can't tolerate rust on anything that contacts food too!

  15. Hi M&M...what great new bowls you have! I have a high one too-it does make it easier on our necks! Mom saw some pink piggies in your fireplace-are those your toys? Do they squeak???

  16. Great bowls! I don't have a problem with height, as I am vertically challenged. Our biggest task is finding a bowl that is shallow & yet big enough for me to fit my big head in! Oh, what's with the piggies? Is your mom trying to play some subliminal trick on you or something??

  19. No wonder he eats so fast - did you notice there are two little pink pigs near your food bowls - thankfully you have the tall bowls now and those little pigs can't reach!

Nice bowls - they are perfect for ice cream

  23. What cool bowls! We eat without bending over too much too. Our bowls sit in wrought iron stands and yes, the iron does rust, but the bowls don't. It must be really cool having 2 fireplaces in your kitchen. We no longer have ANY fireplaces. Our pawrents ripped ours out and replaced it with a ginormous window! It's okay though...the fire box was so shallow that we were afraid to actually have a fire in it!

  24. Cool new bowls - and you have your own personal water bowls too - we all share the same water bowl. We better discuss that with Mom and see if we can get our own.

I also put on a high place for a moment, and give ume tyan meal.

Our email is cfwhooley@gmail.com (if you have any suggestions - many thanks!!) We have gone on-line and googled a few recipes but would love to know one that was tried and tested!

  32. Sky's special bumpy bowl has slowed him down when he eats so he won't bloat, but now Noah and Bailey each need one. They're starting to eat way too fast.

  33. What very nice new bowls you have! You know Bailey and me don't like to complain but we are using old Harry's dishes!!!

  37. I'm really impressed with your dinnerware! It looks like the Ritz at your house. And I think bringing up the bowl height so that you don't have to eat near the ground is VERY thoughtful. Give your mom some huge kisses for that!

I hope your bowls are brimming with cheesy goodness,

  44. Cool new dishes. I think my little sister eats too fast too. I, on the other hand, prefer to play with and than savor my food. I don't get to do that much anymore though since if I wait too long, Teagan will steal my food! The nerve of her! At least Mitch has some manners, right?
