True Colors Thursday - Berry Red

It's true colors Thursday once again! We just love playing along. If you'd like to join in, give Blue a shout! Happy October 1st, everybody! Today's color is red, as in berry red!

This picture was taken while we were on Nantucket! Dad and Mitch would steal berries on our way back to the house after we finished our morning walkies! This bush had both red raspberries and black ones!

These are red pepperberries! Gram sent them to mom awhile ago. Our nanny painted the mini-sifter!
This mug has red strawberries on it! It belonged to Nanny!
These red berries are the fruit from the Jack in the Pulpit. They are not edible but they're very bright and pretty!
We are inside the kitchen in the doll house and there are more red pepperberries on the tall stool!

And these are winning red raspberries at the Durham fair! yummmmmmmNext week's color is silver!

So until next time...............

Love ya lots,

Maggie and Mitch

  13. First of all. We LOVE the mini sifter your Nanny painted! All the examples of berry red - so deep and rich a color - help explain to Moma why she loves the color of a few of our walls. And maybe that helps explain why we are always hungry!

We're gonna go back and look at all the pretty pictures again. Then see if we have any berries in the fridge to EAT!

    Love,

  41. Berry Red is one of my favourites! But the gorgeous color will look too stark on me, so I carry stuffs that bear the color, like my wallet, the strap of my favourite watch and a pair of chic shoes. Good assembly of photos!
