Chaos Before Dindin

Remember last month when we told you that this picture was most deceiving and that we're really not the little angels that we appear to be when mom is fixing our dindin bowls?

A couple of you asked to see a video of us in action and believe it or not, it's taken mom this long to get that video!
As soon as mom would start to record, Mitch would become a little angel and he wouldn't perform like he normally does and she'd have to stop recording and wait till the next day! It's only dindin time that it happens - not breakie!
HA! She finally wore the little bugger down!
Take a look~

So until next time.......................

Love ya lots,

Maggie and Mitch

  1. That is quite the dance for din din, I must say. Not for breakfast, huh, interesting. Maybe your mean mom makes you get up too early and you are still sleepy.

  2. Dinner is such an exciting time! Of course you have to carry on before hand. Do you get something different at breakfast that is not so delicious?

  3. Mitch wanted to EAT and Maggie wanted to PLAY!

Lilly has her very own dance of joy for dindins. She can get kinda loud.

  4. It's a dinner dance! And we love it! A sure sign of a happy dog! Two happy dogs. Just different ways of showing it.

    Love
Jake and Fergs (hopin' maybe we'll get carrot cake for breakfast! We'd even dance for it!)

  5. You sure had us fooled. Mom wouldn't let us have any sound while watching the video because she knew we'd get into a fracas.

Whew.. I'm relieved. I thought you two were angels and always had perfect behavior. I feel better now that you goof around too. Oh.. and Happy Transplant Day to dad! That is an amazing. Life can be good.

  7. Hmmmm...we want what you guys get for dindin. Nobody (NOBODY) dances for kibble around here, so we think it must be great.

  8. Dinner is the loudest time of the day here too. When there were three of us, mom used to call it "the soup kitchen", since it was a real production. Everyone eats their own special food, prepared just how we like it. Good to know that you guys appear to be equally pampered!!

  18. Gee Mitch.....ya sure are a noisy one....when Gram's fixin' our dindin, we just watch 'er quietly.....just waitin' fer 'er ta put the bowls down where we can get ta it and eat it all up.....now Gram says her dear departed mini-schnauzer acted like a lunatic waitin' fer her dinner....runnin' in circles all over the place, 'n barkin' like a nut....funny how we are ALL DIFFERENT....but then that's what makes up the world, isn't it?

Have a great week guys...the weather here is absolutely beautiful.....

  19. Hey M&M,
Perfectly normal behavior by TBH&K standards. The term "jumping for joy" was coined to describe Sophie doing her Hi-Ho-Silver impersonation at any meal time.

  22. Looks like a rather moderate play/dance to me. Just happy to have a great dinner is all, I think. You're both perfectly behaved in my book.

  23. Hi, Maggie and Mitch -

You two had us fooled - we really thought you were angels. We liked the video - it reminded Mama of the way my older sister used to tug on her bathrobe to be fed for breakfast. She also did a dance for her breakfast.

    Love -

  26. That's just like my brother Knuckles and me whenever we visit each other and have to eat. Our humans have to feed us separately because we're so naughty!

  27. That's a lot like what we do when it is time for a walk. Mom wishes she could get Phantom to get excited about dinner.

  42. Funny! Think they would be to tired to eat after that. Ladybug has a crazy time right before she lays down for the night. She tears round and round the living room coffee table as quick as possible. If Jeff sits down with her she gets wilder. Thanks for stopping by and wishing us a happy anniversary.

  43. Well, you guys obviously haven't seen chaos yet! That's just normal behaviour...

  44. Luv the video! They are earning their dinner by a song & dance. Too cute!

Teddy & Louie runs like crazy & play and bark like mad around 800pm every evening.

    Hugs from all!

  45. Fudge does the same thing with his toys. It's not enough for him to have a toy, he has to keep nudging someone else with it. Most of the others ignore him, but Noah hates to be nudged or pushed. he snaps back, then the chase is on.
