Afternoon Fun

Dad suggested dindin at Lenny and Joe's yesterday afternoon and we got to go too! whooohoooooo
Mitch couldn't wait to get in the truck!
I no longer jump in on my own. Dad lifts me in because I can't jump that high anymore and to get out, I jump into mom's arms and she catches me on the way down to soften my landing.
We had one stop to make before we got to Lenny and Joe's. Dad wanted to get our truck washed! We're not allowed to stay in the truck while it's going through the wash so we wait on the patio in front of the car wash building.
Notice dad's outfit - Indian motorcycle top, Carhartt's and Dansko's!
Our truck is nice and clean!
Next stop - Lenny and Joe's!
Mitch gets the last of dad's clam chowder!
Shrimp roll and tartar sauce, fries and cole slaw! yummmmmm
OMG, how embarrassing, mom! Yes, I want that piece of fish but do I really have to stick my head under Mitch's undercarriage to get it?! What will my friends think?
When we got back home, there was a box sitting on our back porch. Guess what was inside?
Dad's new Indian motorcycle jacket! OMG, NOT ANOTHER ONE!
Yes, we do owe you all a HUGE picture of his Indian motorcycle jacket collection! We haven't forgotten.
The front~
And the back of the jacket. Yes, dad. It is very, very nice!
His reasoning is that the jacket is black and tan - like us!
Okay - sure dad -whatever you say!
So that was our Friday afternoon!
We sure did have fun!

So until next time.................

Love ya lots,

Maggie and Mitch

  7. Carhartt's! We know about that now. And we didn't just a couple of weeks ago! Our Girl came home from the mountains with a borrowed Carharrt's hat (a knit cap with a bill) and Moma fell in love with it. Now we've got four! (The guy in the mountains let our Girl keep his and Moma bought three more - plenty to pass around!) And the would perfectly coordinate with your dad's very cool looking Indian motorcycle jacket. Or with YOU! Tan. And dark charcoal. Now all we need is a Lenny and Joe's (yummmmmm)

    Love ya

We'd love to see your Dad's Indian jackets - does he have a motorcycle to go with each one.

  12. Hi Guys!

You sure did have a great day yesterday! You went for a ride in the truck and then got to eat some super supper at Lenny and Joe's. (What's Lenny and Joe's? We don't have any of those around here. Wish we did though.) And to top it off, all your snow is gone!!! How lucky can you get!! We still have between one and two feet and it's been melting for a week!!! Yikes!!

Your friends don't rightly care about HOW you get food or even what position you have to get in to get it. As long as you are successful, we do not care! 25. hi M&M! that's a very pretty jacket that your dad has. and it does match you! we're glad that your dad is as stylish as you two are.

we're glad you aren't jumping into the truck, Maggie. that can be too difficult for a 'mature' lady like you are. sometimes Baxter wants our mom to lift him too. he's just being lazy, silly boy.

  34. You are so lucky. We have never attended an automated car wash. Not even to sit outside. The folks had us in the TerrierMobile last week while some kids washed the outside of it though. We were all(folks included) panting heavily by the time we could roll down the windows! That Lenny & Joe place sounds good.Maggie you do what you gotta do for treats. It's okay girl! Your pop looks very cool in his cycle jacket.Does the mama get a matching one??Have a good week.

  36. Looks like a fun afternoon! That clam chowder makes me hungry for some. We don't get really good chowder in landlocked, Illinois. ;) The jacket is a beauty. Would love to see the collection. My uncle had an Indian motorcycle when I was a youngster. He used to take me rides through the pasture. It was fun!
