Baby Mitchie

Hi everyone! It's me, Mitch!

One of the comments on my gotcha day posting was from Oskar. He called me Baby Mitchie! Well, I guess I was a baby at 4 months old, huh?!Mom has this evil idea to post my baby Mitchie picture with a pink baby bonnet on my head! And then she remember reading on both McGillicutty's blog and Keeley's blog about the "That was then - this is now" stuff!

Okay - who thinks this is funny?!I certainly don't! I'm not a baby anymore, mom!

Our prayer flags are flying high for you, Jackson!
We continue to send you lots of AireZen and our paws are tightly crossed!
We love you, buddy!
So until next time...............

Love ya lots,
Mitch and Maggie

  6. Oh Mitchie, you was so cute as a baby but now you are a handsome young man.

But you do look kinda silly in that pick cap now. You look like you are in a shower cap. Hope you didn't have to take a bath after that picture.

  15. Mitch -- we do remember when you were just a pup. We remember when stairs were a problem, right? But, defending our universal guy rights, we have conveniently forgotten the pink bonnet!!!

You were -- and still are -- adorable though!

  17. Very cute in your bonnet Mitchie!!!

Dear Maggie and Mitch Mom, having been greatly inspired by Maggie's delicious diet, I tried a recipe from a cookbook of dog recipes, "Barker's Grub" by Rudy Edalati.

Jeter needs more fiber in his diet, his anal glands get plugged up more than normal... his vet suggested veges as you know. I cooked up Rudy's Beet Stew from the Barker's Grub cookbook.... easy: boil up some hamburger meat, beets, barley, garlic, oregano, water. It turns out like a soupy stew and it is topped with bread crumbs. All 4 dogs GOBBLED IT DOWN.... hopefully the beets and barley will help do the trick. I am thinking about learning how to express his glands by myself. He is going to the vet tomorrow to see if there is a blockage somewhere. This problem has cropped up recently.

  18. There is something manly about a guy that is not afraid of a little pink. The frills though...do you go shopping with your Dad? Or does he pick your wardrobe?

  24. Um, I have a confession to makes, Mitch. I, well, I kinda thought it was funny. But only a teensy eensy bit, I promise! If it makes you feel any betters, only a manly Airedale likes yourself could pull off a pink baby bonnet with such panache!

  33. We've never seen a baby with a beard. But we do have to admit, the bonnet gives you an innocent look. Sort of like the Big Bad Wolf in Gramma's bed. Not that we're saying you're big or bad or a wolf.

    We love ya, MItch.
