True Colors Thursday - Linen

If you want to play along on true colors Thursday, just give Blue a heads up and you're in!
Today's color is linen!

Mom is having a brain fart and can't remember the name of this perennial plant but the flowers look linen to us!
Mango the Maltese gave us this awesome pillow!  We were on Nantucket in this picture at Something Natural at a picnic table and we were waiting for dad to bring us dindin and that was such a special time!  There will be no Nantucket for us this year and we are sad.  Mom and dad say that it will be even more special next year because we are taking a year off!  Okay - sure!
This is Murphy.  She was mom and dad's first dog after they got married.  Murphy is a short haired Saint Bernard.  She died of bloat many years ago.
Her fur looks linen color in this water color that was painted by a man named Ed.
These candles are a linen color!
This dolly's dress is a linen color!
What about linen colored potato chips!  Too dark maybe?
Next week's color is brick red - our choice! Thanks, Blue!

So until next time................
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

  1. Very confusing. I thought linen was a dry clean only fabric that wrinkles and absorbs sweat, but it is a color too? What? Did they run out of new words or something?

  2. Yep, the chippies are too dark--better eat them quickly....or send them to us and we'll eat them.

  7. Hmmm...I'm not sure about those flowers either. Almost looks like Queen Anne's lace, but I don't think that's it. Good job with the linen sightings!

  8. I learnt something new today. I only know of linen cloth. Now I know the Color too! Good job with showing us the linen colored stuff. Did your mum specially make the chips for this post?

  9. Ah I see the pillow, my mom keeps one for herself too. About the linen-like flowers, by looking at the leaves, I guess the name is marijuana, oh just kidding, don't chase me Mitch, haha!
And I think linen color look like beige to me, my linen is multicolors from dirt, mud, slobber combined.
    Cheers!

Too bad you're not going to Nantucket this year - we're not having a holiday either ... Daddy broke the car.
