Wheelie Wednesday - July

Hi everyone!  It's me, Autumn.
Remember the daylilies that Francesca told you about last week?  Mom couldn't remember what color she bought?   This one just opened yesterday and it's a pretty peachy color!
Check out this black-eyed Susan!   The flower is so big I could almost wear it as a hat!
The Cook's purple wisteria is in bloom again with no frost nipping in July and this time the leaves are out so it's not quite so striking.  It still smells good though and the bees love it!
This is our vege garden this year.  Mom didn't want to plant one because with the barn project she knew she wouldn't have the time for veges and flowers both but dad insisted so other than mom dumping grass cuttings around the tomato cages, it's dad's project!
Can you see all of those tall sunflowers?  Every single one of them reseeded itself.  They are monsters already and it's only July 7th!
I need to tell Mitch that there are apples on HIS tree! He's going to be very happy to hear this news!
How we love the color of our butterfly bush!
See you all next Wednesday!

Love,
Autumn

  10. Autumn - you are the most wonderful garden hostess - and today's offerings are sooooo beautiful! We have to apologize for not having visited in so long - Mom gets a post done and then my sis's demands get in the way of visiting once we begin. We thank you for coming over to see us. We've been worried about the effects of the scorched east coast - are you okay? Stay cool M & M...

  29. It's like undoing presents at your garden! Pretty daylily, mom has picked a good one. My eyes bulge at the size of your vegetation area, your family doesn't need the market for greens anymore! And apples? Fantastic!

You must share some tips with me, hopefully next year.. =D
