Another Crump Barn Update

Mom and dad had this great idea to order dindin at Lombardi's and take it to the Crump barn to eat it! That means we get to go too!  yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
We gotta eat first and then we'll get to the updates, okay?
Mitch got to clean up the potato skins appetizer pan~

And I got to clean up the fried mozzerella!
And we both got to snack on a couple of chips~
Vincent, the mason, has started and he has the basement portion of the fireplace all done - this is where the furnace plugs in and there will also be a wood stove installed.
Dad and Uncle Jeff headered out the fireplace opening up at the ceiling of the basement and Vincent has moved his operations upstairs.  Next will be a beautiful fireplace!  We can't wait to see that!
We have windows on the first floor!
This will be all of the windows going in for this year.
Remember window #1 on the 2nd floor - the one that dad was stuck outside of 30 feet in the Aire? haha - we did let him back in, by the way.
This window is on the road side of the barn.
This new arch window that just went in, is on the field side of the barn.
New goosey-neck lights have been installed over the garage doors.
This is the barn as we're leaving to head home.
Dad says that the next time you see this last picture, the barn will be a different color!  The painters are next to show up!

So until next time....................

Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

  7. All these huge barns that you are helping to build - well your dad is anyway. What happens to them when they are finished? Are they used for animals or do people live in them? The windows look so lovely surely they are not meant for animals!

  21. 'Bout time you got some food at Crumps Barn after watching dish after dish of yummies heading out there. We're glad you've done your usual inspection and have approved all work so far.

It looks great. Never heard of a barn with a fireplace though. We don't have barns in Oz, just large tin sheds.

  42. Wow! We hardly recognize the barn when we're away for a few days (oh ... well ... maybe we should say a couple of weeks.) Amazing! We love to watch the transformation.

Guess what we saw at the Antique Mall this weekend. A bobble head Airedale! We thought of you ... almost bought it. Yep. We may have to go back and get it now.

But first we might need to have a snack. You made us hungry.
