Blue's Colored Thursday - Peridot

If you want to play along, just click here!  It's fun!

Today's color is peridot!   Peridot is the birthstone for August!

Our friend, Holly has a beautiful color with peridot stones on it!

We snagged this picture a couple of weeks ago in our freak brief snowfall that only lasted till the end of the day.  booooooooooooo

This peridot moss is on a rock that's along my daily walkie.

We read that peridot colors range from yellow, to yellow-green to olive-green and brownish. That's a big range!
A weed that never got removed from our patio and now never will!
This necklace belonged to mom's great grandmother.
Next week's color is salmon!

Today is our very good friend, Sunshade's 11th birthday!
We hope you get a large-sized ice cream cone all your own, Sunshade!  Have a wonderful birthday!  There isn't a day that goes by that we don't think of you and your mom and Jaffa and D-guy.  We are pullin' for ya BIGTIME!  We love you!
This is the movie we'll be watching after our Thanksgiving dindin today~
Dad has seen it already and had to own it so today we get to see it for the very first time along with mom!
Happy Thanksgiving to all of our friends!
By the way, we already broke into the pumpkin pie with a gingersnap crust!  It is VERY yummy!
So until next time..............

Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

  14. Mom and Dad ate out today because the turkey was still frozen. We'll cook it this weekend. They brought home two pieces of pumpkin pie. Mom doesn't like it so she fed both pieces to us. Yum, we loved it, even Tsar.

  15. Happy Thanksgiving there! I've heard about Hachi, it's a very touching film. Do you know that it's originally a true story in Japan - about this dog that waited for its master who never returned? Dogs are just such faithful friends...

    Peridot is a tricky color!

  26. So glad you had a great Thanksgiving - sounded like the perfect day.
We like the peridot colours although for some reason we thought peridot was blue!
Lots of great peridot things but of course we just loved the necklace - we reckon your mom is a lot like ours!!!!
It is so nice to have things from long ago that were loved by previous generations.
