Blizzard Benedict

Holey moley! We got 30 inches of snow!  It broke records that have been sacred since 1888 for the most snow getting dumped on Northford in one overnight and all day dumping!

Dauby and Grandpa and the duckies are waiting for their breakfast!
There is really no grass for you to eat anywhere, ya know!
Here comes Mitchy!  He and dad are back from their walkie!
Mom and dad were outside all day Wednesday shoveling and snowblowing!

Mom and dad say that we're stuck with the white stuff until spring!
yippeeeeeeeeeeee

Time to go back inside and warm up~
I get a cookie for being a great tour guide, right mom?
Thank you!
So until next time.................

Love ya lots,
Maggie

  4. Holy Moly! You have enough snow to last until May or June! We still have about 3 inches of snow with an inch of ice on top. It takes us a loooong time to get all the way across our back yard!

Enjoy your snow while it lasts!

  31. 30"?????? Really? Incredible - reminds Mom of the blizzard of 1978 when she was stuck in MA pregnant with #3, due any day, and Dad got snowbound in Bloomfield and couldn't get out of CT for three days.

    Happy Snowfilled Weekend.

  33. Hey M&M,
Our dad says he remembers a lot of those big blizzard snows when he was a kid last century just outside of Boston. He said he had a flexible flyer and would be outside from dawn to dusk. He agrees wiuth your mom and dad that you'll have it 'til March or April. Standby for a long mud season. OBTW: Youse terrier breeds, all of ya, have got to stop all his helping out crap or else word will get out and we'll all be indentured servants. Go to this webpage and you'll se what we mean:
