Passing the Time

One of Mitch's most favorite toys is this udder tug.  He and mom play tug all the time while she is in the kitchen preparing dindin.
But sometimes mom is too busy and needs to pay attention to what she is cooking so Mitch will take the udder tug and whack me with it to try to get me to play with him and I bite his leg!
And I try to grab the udder tug only it's not so easy to get it away from him.
And sometimes I get mad and I let him know about it!
And he apologizes by nibbling on my neck and then my shoulder area.
You'll see mom and Mitch playing tug.  Mom should never play with Mitch - she should play with ONLY ME and I make sure I tell the world about it!
Check out my sniffing Mitch's ear.  I sniff it all the time and then snort as if to say that "it stinks!"  Do any of you do this?
I also love slamming my paw on his back!  hehehe

So until next time............

Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

  1. You is certainly the boss of Mitch Maggie! I snort after I sniff things too, Mum saw a programme about dogs once that said that the snorting out part also helps us smell better. Us doggies is clever cos we smell on the way in and on the way out of the nose!

  4. You really told him, Maggie! We got in trouble when we watched your video because we kept barking at the computer speakers! We thought you were right here WITH US!

  6. You are such a big boss and big sister, Maggie. I think you did a good job on telling Mitch what he should or shouldn't do.
My mom cleans my eyes everyday, ears and teeth once a week. I don't really mind her doing them as I quite enjoy the taste of the toothpaste and it's quite comfy when she cleans my ears so I close my eyes and enjoy that moment!

  8. Maggie...it is sure good to know that other doggies have problems keeping their brother in line. I work hard at keeping Gussie in his place, and picked up a few tips from your video.

  12. Wow Maggie, you're really showing that you're the alpha dog. I'm surprised it took your mom and Mitch so long to stop playing and listen to you. Mitch looked really submissive to you when he stopped playing. I guess he was having so much fun with mom that he didn't listen to you...he did look awful cute playing. Maybe you can let him get away with it just this one time :)

  13. Haaa!
Sure you tell them about your feelings!
I had a good laugh with the ear sniffing and then the snort!
Then you were slamming your paw on Mitch's back and he looked like he did not know what to do!!!
Glad you spent a good time!
    Happy Sunday!

  14. Oops..the sound was way up on my dad's computer and so when the video started to play, your woof and growls got everyone here barking too. Ha, ha, ha...good one. My brother Owen licks my ears every morning and sometimes at night too. He's been doing it since we were really little.

  15. Fudge used to grab the other dog's collars like that and pull them around. It took a long time to break him of the habit. Morgan and Noah are the official ear cleaners around here. They check out everyone's ears and lick them clean.

  17. Mitch DID look a bit sorry he wasn't playing with you. Usually, if SHE starts a tug of war, we all join in. Maggie you should have just grabbed a section and pulled.

  19. Ciara is the only one here who plays with the udder tug - she loves to flip it up in the air and chase after it. She also likes to slap her paw on TD's back, head, face, anywhere, but she never does that to Phantom. That sure was a fun video to watch.

We keep reading and seeing on TV all about all the roofs collapsing in CT, hope all of you and your fmaily are safe.
