What Was She Thinking

 Hi everyone.  It's me, MitchyBoy!
Mom gave me a hairecut this past Saturday because the temps were supposed to be a bit more mild.
They sure weren't yesterday morning!    brrrrrrrrrr
I need my warm furs back!

Get a move on, mom - I need to get home and thaw my ears out!
Look what I found!   Someone wasn't happy when they discovered their other glove was missing~~
Poor Dauby and Grampa!  This has been a tough winter on them.   They haven't been out of the pond in ages!  They can't get out of the water! There's too much snow and ice!

There's not a speck of grass in sight for them to eat.  Thank goodness they have mom and dad to feed them twice a day.  They must be SO ready for spring - just like we are!
So until next time..............

Yer friend,
Mitch

  7. Maybe your Mom was thinking you would be having the same weather we are having, sunny, warm and 70 degrees all week!!!!! I think it is is heading your way so maybe enough of the snow will melt and Darby and friends can get out of the pond, their little feet must be so wrinkled by now!

  12. Also, I have no fur. Mama thought it spring comes. Now it has become cold. But I do not mind. Only Mama thinks I'm cold.
Good thing your mom and dad feed the birds in the pond. They would starve otherwise.

  16. You shoulda put that glove on to help keep you warm! Yeah, I think your mom shoulda waited until at LEAST June to gives you a hair cut with the way your winter has gone. Maybe she could knit you a sweater outta the furs she cut off. Your momma is pretty handy that way.

  18. Hello, it's kind of cool up here too. We're supposed to get some snow flurries today but not much in the way of accumulations. But the rain will make everything yucky.

  21. Hope you get some warm sunbeams soon, Mitch. How can someone lose a glove and not know it when it is as cold as it has been? Better still we wonder about the foot that was missing the sock we saw on our walk Monday:)

The poor ducks, we hope they can get on land soon. We don't know how they survive staying in that water.

  34. hey Mitch, that's a lot of snow that you have. it doesn't look like it will be spring at your house anytime soon. it's going to take some time for all of that snow to melt. we would love to have you come and play in the mud with us. it's not really spring here, but it's not very cold and there isn't any snow. just lots and lots of mud.

  35. hi M & M!! oh mitch.. we feel your pain on the haircut issue. these crazy humans always want everything "neat and tidy"...we all had baths---->which brings us to the haircut issue ....we're next. We had the preliminary "buzz".. the pause before the scissoring. of course the bath puts us all on alert. The cutting of the HAIRS begins tomorrow. The humomm is gearing up for a marathon grooming, I can feel it in my bones.
    arghghghh..
maybe the swan and ducks will have some grass by this weekend. the temps are warming and it appears the snow is receding <--sort of like a glacier.

  52. Hi, Mitch -

Your Mom is really good giving you a hairecut. Mama couldn't give me a hairecut because I (Hershey) wouldn't sit still long enough for her to do it.

My ears get really cold in this weather too.
