Wheelie Wednesday - Blooms

Hi everyone - it's me, Autumn!
I'm feeling festive today with Memorial Day coming up and then Flag Day and the Fourth of July is not far away, so I'm feeling happy in my red, white and blue!
I'm also feeling happy because my nose is buried in a beautiful lilac flower!
The purple gazing ball is new this year.  Mom found it at her favorite store - TJMaxx.  It's blends beautifully with the dwarf perennial Larkspur.
What a fragrant month May is!  Not only are the lilacs in bloom but so is the Viburnum.  Mom says the bush smells like carnation overload to her.  ummmmmmmm
This lilac is called President Lincoln.  It's more blue that the other lilacs in our yard.
And the apple tree is in bloom!   Mitch is already drooling just thinking about all of the wonderful apples that will be falling on the ground come September!
Dauby and Grampa are enjoying this beautiful day.  Dauby's nest is history.  Somebody stole her eggs and it wasn't dad and it wasn't mom.  Did a snake do it?  Maybe a raccoon?  We're just glad that Dauby is okay!
The Bleeding Hearts are blooming!  Mom always wanted an all-white one and it's kinda hard to see because it's small but she's got one now! They're such delicate flowers and so cute.
I'm cartoonized among the Ajuga and the Bleeding Hearts and the Lupines!
See you all next Wednesday!

Love,
Autumn

  8. Those flowers look great and beautiful. You're so lucky to have those flowers with you. We don't find most of your flowers over here as the weather is too hot for them.

Thanks for giving our eyes a feast! The swans are gorgeous too. Why didn't they stay in the water???

Sorry to hear about Dauby's eggs - but we're sure glad she's OK!
Those Bleeding Hearts are SO pretty! Mom always gets such inspiration from your garden!
Our Miss Kim Lilacs are blooming now. Of our four kinds, they are always the last to bloom. We don't think the blooms will last long, as it was 99 yesterday and the day before!
    thanks for showing us around!

  16. Dad had to dig out the lilac bush that was here when we moved in because Mom is deathly allergic to lilacs. Your's are very pretty, but Mom can't smell it thru the computer.

We had a pretty red gazing ball that got broken when a tornado was near by and the winds go very strong and then we had hail. Dad was sad.

  20. Mom loves lilacs, the smell is heavenly. But Dad is very allergic to them so Mom gets her lilac fix by walking through the neighborhood:) You look very patriotic, Autumn. Thanks for another great tour.

  24. Dear Autumn, thank you for the walk around your garden, I'm rejuvenated! I love lilacs too but we have to be careful with planting with so little space. I'm pretty sad now because my fav Hydrangeas aren't sprouting at all while peoples' are already having greens. Have mine died? I left them in pots instead of transplanting. :(

Ohh, I was soo looking forward to seeing them bloom this year.
