A Pressie for ME

Hi everyone. It's me, Mitch.
A package came in the mail today and mom said that it was for me - just me - not Maggie too!
What the heck are they, Maggie?
Any ideas?
It's clickin' at me.  I'm not sure I like it!
Now I'm sure I don't like it!  I'm getting out of here.
You can have the pressie.  I don't want any part of it!
Why are you wearing it around your neck, mom?
Hey, Maggie - when mom clicks this thing, I get treated.  I can do this!
This is a good thing!
I think I'm in for more training.  Oh well. Keep the treats comin', mom!

So until next time................

Yer friends,
Mitch and Maggie

  1. Blogger is being hard to get along with - again. I don't think Gretchen would respond well to the clicker either...

  2. It is really easy to train your people to click and treat Mitch. If you sit in or give them eye contact they will do the click and treat thing a lot. We love to see the clickers. Have fun training.

  6. Hi Mitch, my mom took a teach-the-teacher course in clicker training and has even taught classes using it. Tell your mom that it does work, consistency and rewarding the behavior really works. Your mom clicks and then you do what she's asking, and then she gives you a treat. Simple eh? Your mom will have it down in no time flat.

  7. Our Mom says she's not coordinated enough to work a clicker. That's OK with us.

  8. My mommy used to use a clicker, but she doesn't anymore. She says to tell your mommy, that she loves the idea of putting the clicker on a necklace!

  26. Oh, I did NOT like the clicker when my mom first started using it with me. But now I LUVS it. In fact, it's one of my favoritest things in the whole wide world cuz it means I get treatsies AND I get to spend special time with mom doing fun stuffs. Maybe I oughta get her one that hangs around HER neck. That's pretty nifty!
