Rainy Monday

We had steady rain all day yesterday and today it's raining again but Mitch and I are helping dad and mom in the workshop and we're happy about that!  The roof and siding project takes them away from us too much and it gets lonely.

These are the plans for the project, Mitch.  Can you make heads or tails out of dad's drawings?
I get to be in charge because I let mom put the hardhat on my head and you didn't, Mitch!
 Break time already?
 It's blueberry yogurt today.
I got to lick the spoon and Mitch gets to lick the container clean.
The project is complete! That was sure fast!
It's a ramp and seeing as I'm the boss, you need to make sure it can hold your largemargebutt, Mitch!
Dad tried to lure me on it with a treat but I didn't buy any of it - nope - no, sir!
The ramp is a wheelchair ramp and it's for our friend, Charlie, so he can wheel on and off his porch without as much assistance!
He's going to love it, dad!

So this is how we spent our rainy Monday.  How did you spend your Monday?

So until next time...............

Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

  3. Mitch and Maggie, we are having quite the rainy Monday, relentless downpours all day long. Makes for four very bored indoor sibes. We know there is lots more fun outside with all those mud puddles.

Great project, nice of your Dad to help out Charlie.

  9. Hi Maggie, my sister Tuvia is the boss usually around here too. She kind of has the "bossy" part down pretty well. Monday was pretty busy as my dad is out of town so my mom has to get all of us ready in the morning and walk us before we go into town. It was nice up here today.

  18. What a nice project, Maggie and Mitch, and a great way to spend a rainy day!

Since you asked...Parental Unit spent most of the day, trying to get a backed up sewer problem worked out...it will take awhile longer-how many neighbors can share one sewer line? Four if you live where we do!. So no fun for us in the near future!

    Well, you did ask...:-)

  27. What a great project! Your friend is lucky to have your pawrents as friends!

We did NOT have a rainy Monday (or any other day, lately), so we all went out to the back yard while our mom picked up pinecones. Then she put us back in the house while she rode the mower. We don't understand why we can't be out while she rides the mower!

We hope your rain stops soon so you can have "normal" walkies! Maybe you could send some of your rain to US!

    Aire-hugs,

I think the rain has stopped! Come out and play!!! I wish you made your trip to Nantucket too. The cape and islands are the best. I loved being a salty dawg. I should've ate an ice cream for you.
