The Rubber Broom

We forgot to tell you that mom did come home with one item from the Durham Fair.
A rubber broom!

All that good stuff she could have come home with and she's so excited about this stoopid rubber broom.

It's even got a squeegee on it so she can wash windows outside!  Whoopee, mom!
Mom is one of these people that NEVER buys gimmicky stuff at fairs.  She actually turns her head away so she won't have to be rude and get sucked in and say no to people - but Maureen - the one that was showing off the HUGE warm donut (and yes, mom did eat the whole thing all by herself) said that she already owned one of these brooms and that it worked fabulously!    If you bought one, you got the second one for free so mom and Maureen went half and they both went home with a rubber broom!

Mom is extremely impressed with the job that it did in her kitchen on the floors and on the rugs.
She just ran the sweeper yesterday and look at all that dirt!  Who could have possibly tracked all of that inside in just 1 day?!
 Guess what?
I got groomed yesterday and I am one happy girl in this humid summer-like weather.
What happened to the cool fall temps that we had last week?
Please bring them back in a hurry!
So until next time..............

Love ya lots,
Maggie

Hmmm.... never heard of such a thing, but if it works on dog dirt, might have to pick one up.

You look fabulous! My mom has one of those brooms, but doesn't know where it is at the moment...probably in the garage. It works really well on a completely flat floor. Doesn't work so well on our kitchen floor where the wood pieces are beveled and made to look like bricks. The squeegy is great on our two ginormous windows!

Have a great week!

Patches

Miss Maggie...you look bootiful. And the broom must be better than the vacuum - at least it won't growl back at you, right?

Maggie,
You look so unimpressed by that broom!
I bet it would be super fun to chase and nip at it!!

You look really spiffy Maggie! I don't know why humans are so into cleaning gadgets. My human swears by her Black and Decker electric broom. She says with me shedding all the time, it helps keep our floor relatively fur free.

Hi Maggie and Mitch, my mom has a couple of mops that look exactly like the one your mom just got. My mom likes it alot too cause we all have black furs and our carpets are a kind of beige so the mop gets used alot. Oh Maggie, wow you look beautiful. We could go on walks together.

Well, you look just lovely Miss Maggie. I wonder if a good grooming would help me.

My Vickie says I smell like dirty water and look like a dried up creek bed.....

Mmmmmm.

Love the broom. I think we could for sure use one of those.
