Breakie in Bed

For the past 2 days I've been refusing to eat my breakfast and it makes mom mental.  She puts my bowl in front of me and I turn my head away.  She'll go to any extremes to get me to eat!

Tada - breakfast in bed!   You should all try this sometime.  This is service at its best!
And after I finished my food - with 3 refills, I might add, she brought me my water!
Please remember the placemat next time, mom.   Somebody made a mess in my bed!

This was Sunday afternoon.

Life is good for the time being.

So until next time......

Love ya lots,
Maggie

  2. Refills even? Go Maggie! Clearly the problem is not your appetite. Sissy now requires hand-feeding in the mornings or she'll turn her bowl of dry kibble over. You see... the Queen doesn't care for plain, unadorned kibble...

  9. A mature lady such as yourself deserves a bit of pampering now and then. We used to have a German Shepherd that needed extra encouragement to eat her breakfast almost every day of her life and of course we complied with her demands!

  14. Wow, that is just fantastic! We never get breakfast in bed. Mom says a lot of times Phantom just won't eat in the morning but if she tries again late morning or lunchtime, he might eat then.

    Enjoy that special service!

  19. WHOA! You sure do have your mom trained right. What's your secret? Do you think there's any hope for MY pawrents to be that well trained?

I'm sure glad you ate something, though, cuz moms can get all cuckoo-nuts when they're worried abouts us.

  22. Dear Miss Maggie.
I'm wondering if I can take respite at your estate. It seems I've been in bed all day and not a crumb came my way. I'm sure you wouldn't mind if I came to keep you company.

  23. Sweetest Maggie,
There is nothing quite like a good breakfast in bed. What a nice treat. Sorry to hear that your appetite has been poor. My Savannah has her off days too. She just turned 10yrs old, so perhaps as we age, we need less calories. My body, however, has yet to learn that and the colder it gets outside the more food my insides want....LOL!
    Take care, sweet girl.
