The Hat Goes On

Yesterday, the roof of the cupola set down on top of the body.
Mom and dad are scrambling to get the cupola ready for the raising this coming weekend.
Molly is busy helping mom sweep the floor inside the barn.
That's our friend, Brian inside the orange monster. He's an expert at driving that Lull rig.
Up we go!
 Almost there~
The cupola will go on top of this red barn - Crump's barn!
Peeking inside while dad bolts the roof to the main body.
Dad left roof boards off so that the Lull could lift the cupola safely.  He's getting ready to replace those roof boards so we can finish shingling.
Would you be brave enough to ride that monster?
Mom sure isn't!  You couldn't pay her enough to try that out!
So today, it's back to work on the cupola.  We have lots of work to do to get it ready for this weekend's raising.

So until next time..........

Love ya lots,
Mitch and Molly

  8. Wow! Your dad is so brave to go up that high! Tell your dad to come over our place and trim some tall tree branches ok! It was neat seeing the cupola going up -- never thought a monster would have to be called in to do the job -- butt I guess some monsters are helpful afterall.
