Puppy Kindergarten

Hi everyone. It's me, wee Molly!
Yesterday I had my very first puppy kindergarten class and it was fun!
Believe it or not, this is me on my way to class.  Might as well be good and rested, right?
We have to apologize for the poor quality of the pictures.  Dad was using mom's camera - the one she always uses and the pictures all came out dark so we tried to lighten them and it just isn't working very well but you can get the idea.

Mom and dad went to puppy class without me last Thursday and they came home with homework.  I have been practicing how to sit and "watch" mom and I'm doing a very good job!
This is my "down".  We need to work on me staying there and not popping back up too quickly.
After 20 minutes, my classmates and I got to go out for potty break.
When we returned to the "classroom", we got to go off-leash and run around and play.  It was sure fun!
This thing that I'm standing on is soft and squishy. The object of the game was for me to put all 4 feet on it (which I did) and you kinda have to balance yourself so you don't get dumped off.   I was successful! yeaaaaaaaaaaa
This raised platform is used in agility and we all had to jump on it and get comfy and stay for a minute or two.   I didn't have any problems with that either.
My homework this week is to learn how to "give" and share things that I might not want to share with mom and dad.

But first, I gotta roach!
I can't wait for puppy kindergarten class next week!

Love ya lots,
Molly

  11. Wow. Sissy managed to graduate basic obedience without doing "down" on command. She convinced the trainer that she should always be the demonstration dog, and then those two tried to sell me on the idea that long and low dogs just don't like to down. Maybe they don't, but dangit, Sis has finally learned to down!!

  37. Oh Molly - looks like you're having a wonderful time in puppy class!! Clever pup! And I love how they add in those extra fun things to do - not like my puppy class, which was just the boring old Obedience commands. Puppy classes nowadays seem to have come a long way! :-)

Can't wait to hear more about your class!

  38. You make school sound so easy Molly, do you know that Mitch just got into school last year?

I wonder when my baby will start giving or sharing. He doesn't surrender anything to me when I ask for them, and just takes anything I offer him! Can you share something after you'Ve grasped it?
