Raking With Mom

Mom asked me if I would hang out with her while she raked behind the lumber barn.   Sure, of course, mom!
Dad put a new stone foot bridge across the brook for us so we could cross without getting our feets wet.  The metal one that we had before broke. This one is nice and solid, dad!
Aren't the daffies pretty in front of the lumber barn?
There's Buster!  Do you see him in between the trees?
He's doing okay.  He spends time in the water with the other birds and he spends time on the shore, not far from the water. Thank you so much for all of your love and support.  We miss Gussie every single day.
The Flintstone Barnacles and one of the Grey Lag geese.  We have 5 Grey Lag geese now.
Margaret and Penny and one of the fatassloudmouths.   You never see Margaret without this fatbutt goose swimming right alongside her.  She adores Margaret!
Enough of the waterfowl.
Can you see that I have a leaf in my beard?  I'm resting on a wonderfully cool pile of leaves that mom raked just for me.
I found lots of sticks to chew on.
And I discovered that skunk cabbage stinks and I like it.  Mom missed the picture but I roughed up the skunk cabbage and threw myself on top of it and rolled around on top of it like it was poo and I continued to lay there like a hussy with my Airelegs spread for all the world to see!  Skunk cabbage is really cool stuff!
Time for some playbows and tuckbuttruns!

Here I come, mom, ready or not!
I'll help you rake anytime, mom! I sure had fun!

So until next time.......

Love ya lots,
Molly

  4. Me and Teka toy have found that Goose Poo, which is available at the lake at the U of R, is great to roll in.

Problem is, sometimes muzzer is able to round up a gardener or mtc guy and we get squirted down before we are allowed in the car! But it is fun while it lasts right?

Leaves are fun to play in, especially when they crackle!

  16. Skunk cabbage, that's a new one. We usually only get to roll in dead fish. Hope you didn't have to have the dreaded bath afterwards. Love seeing all your birds...so glad Buster is getting out and about.

  25. I was sadden to read about Gussie. Poor Buster.
Your dillys are pretty. I have a couple of bulbs that have mutated, they no long have a cup but just crazy stumped ruffles in the center. They are not pretty at all.
    Thanks for being a friend
