Wild Morning Glory

Remember mom's wild Morning Glory experiment gone bad?  The whole thing started out with a clay pot full of planted seeds at the base of a garden chair.
The poor Witch Hazel is supporting this entire Morning Glory plant!
This is the other garden chair that's beneath our dining room window.  It doesn't get as much sun here.   This is the way the experiment was supposed to turn out only the flowers are supposed to bloom in August and not wait until past mid-October!
Why do the Morning Glory blooms look square, mom?!
Somebody help me!  A autumn leaf is stuck on my chacheeeeeeee!!
So until next time..............

Love ya lots♥
Molly

  1. We too are having a very mild Fall and it is confusing everything. We have a bad storm coming. Storm Jude should hit us on Monday. Hope it doesn't. Have a super Saturday.
    Best wishes Molly

  3. That last picture is hilarious. It reminds me of all those statues in Rome with a leaf in a 'strategic' place, lol.

  4. So pretty! Flowers really struggle to grow here so I'm so amazed at your flower pictures.

  5. Mom would be too scared to plant even a single morning glory....even in a pot. She always remembers a little town she visited back home and just about every house and business was covered with morning glory...it got inside their roofs and caused problems with the electrical wiring and damaged walls. It did look pretty while flowering but the rest of the time was just a tangled mess. The birds love the seeds which is how it ends up scattered everywhere

  8. Your Morning Glory looks beautiful to us! And yesterday at the dog park, I got covered by burrs that Parental Unit had to comb out! As for leaves, they're hangin' all over me after I chase the squirrels...

  10. Our Mom has been fighting with her morning glories for years and we hate to tell her, but she lost that battle a long time ago. They're out of control, all over the place.

Those leaves like to ride in our curly hairs too. Then we remove them in the living room. Mom loves it.
