Mom's Vacation Continued

On Thursday, mom and Auntie Lydia traveled to Leavenworth to visit Little Bavaria.    It's the sweetest little town located at the base of those snow-capped Cascade mountains.

Lunch was German meatloaf and homemade sauerkraut and German potato salad.
And for dessert, German chocolate cake!
One of the shops they visited had all homemade ice cream.  Mom had never had licorice ice cream before.  Yes, it's black and it gets your tongue black too but if you like licorice, it's superyummy!

Thursday evening, Aunt Lydia baked homemade strawberry jelly and cranberry orange scones.  They were heading to Miss Kate and Putter's house on Friday.

Putter lives where she can walk out her front door, prance past stores and restaurants and the post office and end up at this gorgeous beach.   We would say that Putter is a very lucky AireGirl!

And on the way back to Putter's house, mom spotted this gorgeous camellia ☺
A very tired but happy Putter.  She's almost 10 years old and she takes longer walkies than we do!
Putter has twinsie brothers.  Mom went to B's baseball game.
And she checked in on W's soccer practice.
And they checked out the Farmer's Market~
 More beautiful tulips!

And this rather interesting fairy who does the neatest things with balloons.
Mom had the most wonderful time with our goodest and bestest friend, Putter~
And she was thrilled beyond thrilled to meet Dave and Sophie.   Our mom had the time of her life!
Make sure you stop by again to see what mom brought us from Seattle!

So until next time.............

Love ya lots♥
Mitch and Molly

  18. My the restaurant looks like you are truly in the Alps. I think that licorice ice cream has to be an acquired taste. I love seeing other parts of the country.
