Beautiful Beauty Berries

Our beauty berry bush is in bloom and our mom can't get enough of the gorgeous purple berries! She is in love with the color of those berries!
She got to wondering if they would dry nicely or if after time, they'd shrivel up and have to be thrown away so we're conducting an experiment to see what happens to the berries when you pick them and bring them inside the house.    Mom is also curious to see if they have a scent as they dry.  They have a very subtle scent now. We think they should smell like grape but mom says that's not the case.
We'll let you know as time goes on.

Mom finished another wool candle mat~~
We're preparing for the colder temps ☺

So until next time...........

Love ya lots♥

  5. I think you have blogged about these lovely berries once before. Maybe a year ago? If you've told us what they are, I forget the name. Do you know it?

  14. Such a beautiful shade of purple - we have never seen that bush. Our development planted a bunch of serviceberry trees - we are curious to see what these service berries are all about and if they are edible - they line the streets we walk along.
