Celebration of Life Walkie

This is where our dad was this past Sunday~

 Annual 5K Celebration of Life

NJ Sharing Network's Annual 5K Celebration of Life brings together thousands of walkers, runners and volunteers to honor those who gave, pay tribute to those who received, offer hope to those who continue to wait and remember the lives lost while waiting.
Since the inaugural event in 2011, the NJ Sharing Network Foundation has raised more than $1.5 million toward increasing the number of lives saved through education, research, donor family support and public awareness about the life-saving benefits of organ and tissue donation and transplantation.
Whether you participate in the 5K or the many other event festivities, join us for a fun-filled celebration including music, snacks, prizes, and exciting activities for all ages.

He brought home some good stuffs!     The shirt is tennis ball chartreuse!   This is one of the coolest colors going!
And check out Molly's new bracelet!
And he brought home a HUGE pill for my newly diagnosed illness.   He says it's going to fix me up as good as new!  My dad is so very thoughtful!
 This is not funny, mom!
Dad said that the picnic afterwards was super yummy.  He told us all about the Italian ices that had real fruit in them. He said he had 3 ices because they were so good - strawberry, lemon and pineapple.  How come he didn't bring any of those home for us?!

Maybe next time we can go.  We like walkies too, dad!

So until next time...........

Love ya lots♥
Mitch and Molly

  3. Crikey Mitch ....... I sure hope that pill works. I'm glad you only have to put it on your head and not swallow it. It'd take a bit of getting down, aye?? It was good of your Dad to take part in that event. Hopefully next time you'll get to go too.

  4. That sounds like a great cause, we need something like that here. Australia is some of the lowest donation rates in the world. Terrible.

  19. What a wonderful event. After knowing your story and having some donor tissue used in one of my surgeries, I finally signed up to be a donor.

The ices sound wonderful!!! Maybe you can ask your dad real nicely next year to bring home samples for you!
