Flower Friday - The Hydrangeas

We are joining Dory again this week for Flower Friday.
Today is all about the beautiful hydrangea.    We have a few hydrangea plants in our yard and all of the flowers are a different color depending on the acid or alkaline soil.

This is one plant.  There are no two flowers the same color on this one plant.

This plant used to be blue and has turned pink~
This plant is in the garden in front of dad's workshop~
 And outside the lumber barn~
Remember this one with Molly when she was only 4 months old~
This is the same hydrangea plant now.   Molly is all grown up!
Even MaggieAireBear is enjoying the beautiful hydrangeas!
Happy Friday, everyone!
Love ya lots♥

Love the pictures. We can't grow hydrangeas, they just die but we do love them. Love the baby picture of Molly so cute. Have a lovely Friday and weekend. Hugs, Susie & Treacle xx

Thank you for telling us how hydrangeas get their different colors.

It was a "topic of discussion" on one of our walks a few weeks ago.

We have planted a pink and blue one next to each other. Wonder what colors they will become with the soil being the same.
Thanks for being a friend

I love hydrangeas, but some reason have never had much luck with growing them. They are so beautiful!

Those are SO gorgeous! We love all the colors in them. Our mom said she has tried planting them and they haven't done well here. Oh. and that "some-bunny" ate a whole bush. Oops.
Oh. And no, not me! A BUNNY!!!

We hardly ever see a hydrangea here. Mom loves all the colors, but the blue is her favorite. It reminds her of her summers on Cape Dod. Thanks for sharing all that beauty.

Hydrangeas are so wonderful, only made MORE beautiful with an Airedale nearby.

I've never had a hydrangea. Perhaps because I can't spell it LOL.
I've never really had much a garden. Someday maybe! I didn't realize that they change color like that. So pretty. Thanks for sharing.
Have a great weekend with the kids! XXOO.
