Checking it Out

Linda LandLady wanted to meet me so I took a ride with mom to visit our new place.
The stairs lead from a small mudroom at our own entrance and at the top of these stairs is the kitchen to the left and the bathroom on the right.
Mom hasn't had a gas stove in YEARS!
The frig is empty! We can't have this!
I think this will be your first job, mom!
There are lots of built-in's in this room!  This is where mom will groom me.    The bedroom is across the hallway.
The TV will be going behind me at the end of the family room.
There are closets in every single room and the window sills are nice and low so I can see out☺
Is it time to go yet?
I was kind of whiny and did get comfy on my first visit.   Mom is hoping that my beds and lots of our furniture and my toys will do the trick.
Yup, the tennis ball was still there.  I'll bring my own from home~~
Love ya lots♥
Molly

  1. OH MOLLY... tell your mom that she will LOVE the Gas Stove... Our mom was soooooo happy when the ICKY Electric stove that was in HERE... Disappeared and the NEW GAS stove was installed... She DOES have a suggestion fur that OVEN... If your mom sets a Bowl of ammonia in there fur at least 24 hours.. the STUFFS will come off MUCH Easier...with BRILLO Pads...
We think this is a Gorgeous Apt.. LOTS of storage... which is USUALLY very Lacking. We also like the white walls... makes it look very Bright and homey.
WOW you will have YOUR OWN GROOM ROOM. How Grrrrreat is THAT !!!!

  7. that looks like a very nice new home for you and Mom, Molly. We agree with F & E's Mom about the gas stove. We have gas heat but no gas line for a stove hookup. Mom misses her gas stove.

Once you get your toys, your bed, and all those balls to your home, you are going to be a very happy girl.

  8. That looks like a real home! The floors are gorgeous, and the rooms are so airy and bright! I love that you can see out the windows, Molly! And, I know that your mom will love that gas stove. We just got one, and it's great!

I think that the grooming room will be a great place for all your stuff, Molly. Beds, toys, treats - all the things that an Aire girl needs, plus, of course, a place to snuggle with your mom.

    Sending lots of love!

  11. Crikey Molly ...... I'm sure you will settle in very nicely once that fridge is full, aye?? AND you'll have your Momma all to yourself. How good will that be? I can see you being VERY spoiled. I hope your Momma settles in well too. It does look like a very bright cosy cottage and you have a yard AND a tennis ball. Give you Mom lots of cuddles, aye?? She will be feeling a bit lost for a while.

  15. We love your new home Molly and I sure when all your things and your Mom's things are in you will settle real quick. At least with a gas stove when you turn the heat down it is immediate unlike electric, one benefit perhaps. Have a good weekend. Hugs, Susie & Treacle xx

  23. Of course, the muzzer is quite jealous of the gas stove. I, Teka Toy, love the stairs and would most definitely enjoy all that empty space for ball fetching inside. I must make do with halls and foyers, which is frustrating. Which then becomes "BORRING!"

Don't forget to bring anything you have hidden away, like used chew bars, buried bones (look in the cushions) and destuffed stuffies. I am a pro at moving, having lived in three states and four houses since I joined this motley crew.

    Love

  24. Don't worry Molly. When your bed and toys and especially your food bowl get there, it'll start to feel like home. Mom said her doggies adjusted quickly once their things arrived. You are going to love your fenced yard.

  28. Dear Molly,

Moving is hard. It will be better when the fridge is full. And your bowl, too. Those steps have nice carpeting for your paws - see, that's a good thing!

  31. Gosh I cannot begin to imagine how taught that last post had to be to write. I guess I want to say remember it is not your responsibility to take care of everyone else. Perhaps brace yourself for the unexpected always remember what a wonderful person God made you and try as best as possible if maybe just a seconds at a time to remember that the future will again look brighter. All things have their season. Wishing you the very best.
