A Different Route

Mom and I headed out for walkies in the opposite direction.   We had to cross Whitney Avenue, which is a very busy street.  Lucky for us, there was a button to stop traffic so we could cross safely.
 We found Legion Field!
The kids play baseball here~
Look what else we found, Frankie and Ernie
I"m five now so I can play with the older kids~
And I can fit in with the younger kids.   Mom is so disappointed that she doesn't fit into either age group.
This looks like so much fun!
Legion Field is huge.  We walked the entire perimeter~
It's bordered by a cemetery on one side.
There are sure lots of good sniffs here!
 I met a new friend.  Hey, Khyra - it's a Corgi☺
Maybe we can try a new walking route tomorrow, mom.   This is sure fun!

Love ya lots♥
Molly

  1. Your walk looked like fun. We (Tuiren and Fenris) ride in the car to the beach with Mom to go walking with her friend Tammy. Last week we walked 5 miles. We are very sad we will not get to walk this week, the Mom has a dental appointment on Tammy's day off.

  10. We love taking new routes too, but Mom has a hard time finding one that doesn't have bikers - they terrify poor Lightning.

Did you get to slide down that slide, Molly?

  15. Did you walk in the cemetery? We like to look at all the types of headstones especially the old ones. We only go in the day time cause you never know about ghosts.

  20. Your new home territory looks like tons of fun! In fact, I recognized a few things, and I realized that my grandma lived there! When I was a little girl (in the age group for that fun playground), I used to visit there - but I don't think that the playground was so fancy then. I loved your walkie - and your new friends. I'm so glad that you and your mom are exploring your new neighborhood!

  23. Happy belated birthday Molly. Lee and I love to walk in cemeteries. Lee reads stones and I sniff out things of interest. Lee belongs to Find A Grave. If people have ancestors buried in our area and can tell us what cemetery we go out and take a picture of their stone an post it on Find a Grave for them. Lee found her own great great grandfather's stone when looking for someone elses family. Now fire hydrants why they carry lots of messages and I think your Mom fits into an age group it is out there waiting to be found.
    Thanks for being a friend
