Our First Guest

We had our very first dinner guest come this past weekend and I got to help mom make the goulash!
Red peppers are very yummy~

Mom has not cooked on a gas stove since - well, we'd better not go there but it's been a LONG time!    The onion, celery and peppers are cooking away.
Time to add the beef and the tomato sauce.   Uh oh - you forgot to buy the mushrooms, mom!
 Will she be here soon?
My hooman sissy brought mom a new teakettle☺    Mom left the other one for dad because he drinks tea for breakie and mom drinks coffee but mom like her tea too.
Thank you so very much, Melissa♥
For some reason, our mail peep knows that we live here now because he delivers us mail but for some reason, he won't take the out-going mail in our mailbox.  We're not sure why but mom decided that we needed to walk to the post office to make sure this letter got mailed.

I've never walked to the post office before.      Your mail is on its way, Mr Steve!
Time to discover more fun routes, mom!
Love ya lots♥
Molly

Crikey Molly ... You are doing so many new things. How exciting. I wonder why the postman won't take your mail. You didn't forget the stamps did you? You've got very nice choppers.

Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy Molly that was a very very delicious looking supper. I think I got a whiff of the lovely aroma down here. Your human sis is a wonderful sis and daughter to bring a house warming gift of a tea kettle for your mom. BTW young lady you are looking very lovely today!!

Ummm the mail man won't take outgoing mail...that is just weird! Did your mom ask the p.o why? Our mailman, Not Earl, takes ours likety split.
Hugs madi your bfff

Your mom's cooking made me hungry! She's such a good cook! I need a tea kettle too but I am completely overwhelmed by all the choices. Revere seems like a high quality choice - maybe I'll mimic you!

It seems like you and your mom are having such fun exploring. I'm happy for you two, and I'm glad that you have each other :)

there are a lot of new things for you and the mama... and the goulash looks very tasty... not sure if my mama could manage a gas oven... her parents removed the buttons when she was alone at home as she was a girl... for a reason...

We thought you were eating a popsicle in that first shot. Mom has never given us peppers. Maybe she should.
