The Black and Tan Dry Sink

You probably noticed the new piece of furniture on our Chewy post yesterday.    This in our new black and tan Colebrook dry sink.    Mom seems to really be hooked on the Hitchcock black and tan stuffs!

We can't have black and tan furniture without some black and tans on it!
There is one small problem though.   When it was delivered, the skeleton key that came with it to open the doors on the bottom didn't work.  Mom had to wait for the correct skeleton key to arrive.
In the meantime, she asked dad if he had skeleton keys hanging around~
He did - but none of them unlocked the door.
 Finally, the miracle key arrived!
 Mom is a happy camper☺
Love ya lots♥
Molly

  1. it's beautiful and black&tan is the best combination ever... like your furs...
I guessed it while reading, that not of the keys your daddy had is the right one... it happened to us with an old kitchen cabinet... my dad tried to make a key what fits... butt well... you know our diy-projects.... we use a cardbord piece now that the door can not get closed completely LOL

  9. I thought the idea of a skeleton key was that opened most anything. Your dad certainly had quite a collection. But we're glad you finally got the right one. We think it's great that your décor is based on the dogs...BOL!

  12. Love the dry sink. We also have some Hitchcock around the house. I like the chairs best, because they get me close to the top of the dining room table. Teka

  14. Was there something inside or was it empty? Love the Hitchcock piece. You are lucky you have a store near you. We only see Hitchcock pieces on Ebay. We love that they have small pieces.
    Thanks for being a friend
