SnowBalls

Guess what!  We got snow yesterday!
Yes, Uncle Tom - I want to catch a snowball!

 Incoming~~~

No really - I don't have snowballs all over my feets!
Will you come outside and toss me more snowballs soon, Uncle Tom?  Pretty please!

My Frozen Beard

It is my routine every single morning before we leave for walkies to get a nice long drink of water, which means that my beard is dripping wet on the frostiest of mornings.
Mom thinks I'm nuts to get a drink before we walk.  She thinks that I should do it when we get back home.
But mom,  a long drink means more pee-mails to leave behind!
Today is the 6th Anniversary of Maggie's passing.
I sure wish that I could have met you, Maggie.   I would have liked you!

Win Win

Mom was involved in another Airedale in Need auction on facebook.   This one was to help Lexi, who needed surgicals on her ear.
The auction raised a total of $5, 303.47!  That will help Lexi so much!

A handmade bead by Jennie Lamb, was offered.   This one is an Anemone flower bead full of handmade glass murrine flowers to create an underwater scene. It is set on Sterling silver and is currently on a silver plated ball chain which can be adjusted in length.

The bead arrived from the UK on Monday.

The bead is not easy to photograph and no photo could ever do it justice.   It is absolutely stunning in person!

We need to find a permanent place for it so it will showcase its beauty, mom!  Maybe here??   This auction was sure a win-win -  for Lexi and for us!

Tasty Tuesday

I helped mom make whole wheat cranberry scones yesterday.   It's the first time that she's ever made scones.  She thinks they came out too thick.  Next time she'd better use the ruler and not wing it before they hit the oven!
Mom wasn't sure that I would like cranberries seeing as they are kinda tart.    These cranberries are not the dried kind.  They come from a bag that was in our freezer.
They are yummy!   I like them, mom!
We had a dreary day yesterday and today is more drear and rain.  At least the temps are mild and no ice is involved.

My Molly Coat

Mom bought me a new winter coat!
It's called Molly's Canine Coat.  Honest.   If you bigefy this picture, it says so at the top of the white tag.      Can you believe that they named a coat after ME!☺
This is the inside of the coat.   Isn't it pretty!
It's snowing here today.   It started out as light rain around 3am and then it turned to snow and then it stopped snowing and then it started snowing again.     It won't accumulate to much more than I have now but that's okay.  It's snow and it's wonderful!
We forgot to bring my tennis ball out, mom.
Next time!
My new coat is waterproof and nice and warm.    I like it, mom!

Blue Stix

My Chewy box has arrived!  Only the bestest things arrive in a Chewy box!
This month, we chose Blue Buffalo Blue Stix to review~

  • Made with USA pork as the first ingredient for the high-protein treat dogs find irresistible.
  • Pepperoni-style with a soft texture and natural bacon flavor, it’s great for training or snacking anytime.
  • With wholesome ingredients like oatmeal, potatoes, brown rice, blueberries and carrots.
They are a soft treat and they smell sooo yummy!   The stick can be broken into smaller pieces, which is just fine with me because mom can put them in my interactive toys!  And the best part - they are made in the USA!
And there are a lot in there.  Well,  we did remove 2 stix already.
This is the best that mom could do for getting a picture of me eating one.   I was too fast for her☺
That's not all that came inside the Chewy box.   Mom got me a foxy Wubba too!    We need to play tug, mom!
Thank you so much for letting me taste these yummy Blue Buffalo Bacon Stix, Miss Natalie and the Chewy team!    I give them 4 paws up!  They are DE-LICIOUS!

Molly and Mackie Monday

Mackie is no longer a wooly bear!    It took mom three full hours to get him to look somewhat of an Airedale again.  I think he's happy☺
Your hAirecut makes you look bigger than before, Mackie!
 Let's play!
We had a cold breezy day yesterday and we are happy about that because our mushy soft yard firmed up and we can race and have fun and not do any damage to the grass!

Yes, Mackie, that is snow and that's all that's left in my fenced in yard.
You need to come back when it snows a foot!   Then we can have some REAL fun!

Flower Friday

We are joining Rosy for Flower Friday!
We weren't sure what kind of flowers we were going to find on our walk seeing as there is snow everywhere~~
We did find this dried up used-to-be-a-flower!   The bluish background is snow.
And we found these ice sculptures.   We're on Forest Street and it's very narrow and we know that the snowplow had lots to do with creating this and then of course the deep freeze temps helped it to stay this way.

Next to the ice sculptures, we found holly with beautiful red berries☺
I don't want to look at you, mom.   The sun is blinding me!
The grasses are so striking in the snow~
When mom grocery shopped this week, they had primroses in the florist department and she couldn't resist the cheerful yellow.     So now she has 2 plants that she has to remember to water.  Good thing they live in the kitchen!
For not knowing what were were going to find with so much snow out there, we did okay☺   Thanks for walking along with us.
