Yay for Walkies

We are finally getting a few days where we can go for a walk and not freeze to death!   This is my street that we're on.  It still has a lot of snow on it which means that it's slick so we have to be careful of our footing and of the cars.
This one is easier to walk on.   Yes, that is the mansion in the background that was for sale several months ago.    We think that Quinnipiac University bought it because there are lots of cars parked in the driveway and we see lots of students moving about.
The sidewalks have been cleared and we can move freely.
But it's still SuperFun to race around in my yard!

As of January 5th, we have a new landlord.   Mom took a walk to pay the rent and it just happens that she pays the rent inside a jewelry store.   Mr C was on the phone when she got there so she got to "shop" for 10 minutes.  She looked for a diamond tiara for me and a fancy collar with lots of bling but sadly, she didn't find either one.   How rude is that!   But she did see lots of beautiful jewelry that she would have loved to come home with.    Mom says that paying the rent could be a very dangerous thing!

Love ya lots♥
Molly

  2. I'm glad Jack Frost did a break and you will not come home like a polar bear.
the mama nodded about the bling store, that can be dangerous indeed... we have no landlord but if we had one he should run a shoe store...hehehe

  3. We love seeing your neighbourhood on your walks but the roads look really bad, we have been watching the news and seen how much snow and the cold temperatures. So glad you were able to go for a walk. Love the pictures in your garden of you racing around. Treacle is very jealous as it is just very dark and grey here with freezing temperatures and rain. It's a shame your Mom could not find you a nice Tiara to wear perhaps she could ask the soon to be new Duchess, Ms Markle, if you could borrow hers? Keep safe and warm Hugs & Love Susie xx

  5. That house is beautiful. Hope the college takes good care of it.

You are lucky to get that walk. Our Mom requires bare and dry walkways before she will take a chance:( Makes for a whole lot less walkies for us.

  6. You are having a blast in the snow! I hope that your new landlord is nice. That mansion is not a fraternity house is it?? #WildParties

  7. Dang...now why couldn't the new landlord have an ice cream parlour...or be a butcher!

We think racing around in the snow is preferable to sliding on ice...

  8. We can tell how much you LOVE that snow Molly! You guys better be careful out there...it is slippery! Holy Cow! Paying Rent in a jewelry store would be disastrous for us...there wouldn't be any $$ left!! BOL!

  11. It's good to see you're able to get out for some walks. Maybe your mom can put in a request for a doggie tiara from your landlord? We're glad you are able to stay in your apartment with the new owners.

Thank goodness you sidewalks are clear.
Yay for your new landlord all that bling would be way too much for mom. She kinda loves it but as she tells herself she only has 2 hears and two hands to wear things

  20. We're getting a break from the extreme cold this week. But it's coming back this weekend and a storm is predicted. Too bad about not getting any bling from the jewelry store. Maybe next time.

    Stay warm!
