Nature Friday

We are joining Arty this week for Nature Friday~

These photos were taken on Tuesday, when we still had snow.   It's so colorless at this time of year and kind of depressing.    Mom told me to look depressed.  Is it working?!☺
So mom came up with an idea to take pictures of nature that had landed on top of the snow.
Are these the same oak leaves that you have, Phenny and Nelly?
 We found a pinecone~
And this is the Sycamore tree ball~
And we found these nasty Copper Beech pods that love to get lodged in between my feet pads~
And on Wednesday, we noticed that we still had lots of Bittersweet berries on our vines.    I guess the birdies don't like them?
This is the last little bit of snow in my back yard.   I gotta enjoy it while it lasts!
Happy Friday, everybuddy!

Love ya lots♥
Molly

  3. It's definitely easy to find nature on snow since it is white. Enjoy the last of your white stuff.

  4. Our snow has all melted, except for the gigantic parking lot glaciers. Its slowly warming up a bit too. Enjoy your snow while you have it.

  5. We like all the nature things you found. Our snow is mostly melted now too (we live very close to Chester above). We won't be able to spend much time in our yard since it is too muddy now. The weather peeps say we could get more snow in a couple of days though.

  10. Very creative! And you did find some color at least...the red berries against the blue sky are very pretty.

  12. No snow left here, just a very soggy yard and lots of mud. Mom says the mud is as slick as black ice. We saw a lot of those sycamore balls on our walk, but they aren't much fun to pick up in our mouths - prickly:)

    Have a nice weekend.

  15. All of our snow is gone, gone, GONE! On the plus side, it was warm enough today for us girls to hang out on the deck while Mom cut Dad's hair. That was tons of fun!
    We love the Bittersweet!
    Yours sincerely,

  16. I *love* those oak trees on top of the snow... Enjoy your snow while it lasts. I know that we'll have snow until May so I am a wee bit jealous of the thought of the snow going away ;)
