Nature Friday

We are joining Rosy today for Nature Friday~

We finally had a day where there was no threat of rain and we didn't have to hurry along~

 We found pretty purple tulips~
And we ran into farmer Will and underneath the white plastic, lettuce is growing.   He said the white plastic reflects the heat and will keep the lettuce cooler~
The Ornamental Pear trees are in bloom~
And the brilliant Flowering Quince is blooming!  That intense color is so pretty!
And the Trout Lily is up and flowering~
Our Red Maple tree has leafed out~
Happy Friday, everybuddy, and Happy Birthday to my Auntie Chickie♥

  1. I'd say spring has definitely sprung in your neighborhood. Such pretty flowers. Flowers will be starting to pop around here in the coming days we think.

  7. What beautiful flowers! Maybe next week our pear tree will open its buds. I hope it warms up enough for the bees to pollinate them so we can have some yummy pears this year.

  11. Beautiful flowers, Molly. The tulips and flowering pear trees have come and gone here. The lilacs are in full bloom now. Mom is going to check out some quince for an area in our yard where we are hoping to plant some new shrubs. Happy weekend.

  14. So many pretty flowers there! We have daffodils and that's about it so far. We were also happy to finally be able to take a more leisurely walk today with at least a little sunshine, no rain, and temps in the 60's!
