Best Deal Ever

Mom's friend, Miss Dotty, gave her a LOT of puzzles.  She told mom that when she was finished with them to donate them. She did not want them back.    So yesterday, mom called the library and asked them if they had adult puzzles to lend out.  They said, no - but they do have puzzles for sale and mom asked them if they accepted puzzle donations and they said yes!
She is donating the four puzzles that are to the right of the picture.
She came home with this and it only cost her one dollar!  There are 10 puzzles in this box, mom!  We are going backwards here. We are supposed to be downsizing!
Oh my dog!  This will keep her busy for awhile and when she's finished all ten of them, she will take it back and re-donate it for the next puzzle obsessed peep.
She also found 3 books for fifty cents apiece so for two dollars and fifty cents, she got the deal of the century!   She has entertainment for HOURS!
I'm not so sure that I'm going to like this deal but if you're looking for a great deal - support your local library!
Love ya lots♥
Molly

  8. You will be busy with all those puzzles and the books. What a great idea. Sadly all our libraries are closing or downsizing which is such a shame. My family always went to the library on a Saturday morning and got lots of books for the week and then went back the following week to exchange them.

I used to take the Boys to the Library regularly and especially over the sumemr when they had more time and they loved it.

Have fun with your new puzzles and books.

    Hugs, Susie & Treacle xx

  9. Crazy Moms and their puzzles. Ours has one going on the counter now, but as she says, it is very slow going - too busy to get at it. Mom says puzzles are not cheap - so we told her to head to the library:)

  10. That's a lot of puzzles in just one box. It will take a while for your mom to finish all of those. At least it keeps her entertained. We donate a lot of books and music (cd's and albums) to our library for them to sell.

  18. Sadly we do not have "puzzle patience", but love our library (and several thrift stores nearby) for buying lots of $1.00 books, madly reading them and then giving them right back! Only to buy more ...
