Nature Friday

We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~

We are still seeing Autumn color but it's dwindling~
We found a beautiful bluepurple Hydrangea!
A green leaf bug decided to hang out on our back porch~
Thanks to Chester, we now know that this is a Katydid!
Who doesn't love a cheerful pumpkin~
Farmer Will's veges are still growing away.   We think this might be kale?
The Chinese Lanterns are hanging in there in our back yard~
 Happy Friday, everybuddy☺
Love ya lots♥
Molly

A leaf bug you say. Well color me amazed and educated I have never in all my 1000 years seen one. I love learning new things.
Molly that last photo of you is priceless. You are posing so that it looks like you are wearing a red tam.

  4. I've never seen a leaf bug before. That's the most interesting thing I've seen in ages. The internet says they chirp. What a fun bug to find!

  6. Wow, the green leaf bug is quite stunning. But perhaps his camouflage is not so effective at this time of year, when all the leaves have changed colour?

  7. We had white stuff on the ground this morning, Molly! I was kind of excited about it, but Momz was not that impressed (there was not that much of it, but still, it's the principle she says).

  11. Most of our trees have lost their leaves. It was a short autumn. That green bug you found is a katydid.

  16. You're so lucky to enjoy such a pretty
Walk. Our trees just started changing, but we have a super cold windy period and all the leaves turned brown and crunchy and fell off the trees. We're supposed to get snow today.

  17. What a great walk and we just love those Autumn colours. I love Spring and Summer too with all the colour of the flowers but there really is something special about Autumn. Pumpkins are the best and ours is still okay outside despite all the rain. Hugs, Susie & Treacle xx
