Sunday Soup

I'm sure everybuddy is still enjoying turkey, turkey, turkey - what to do with all of that turkey!
Mom made turkey soup yesterday~
She offered me the raw turkey neck on Thanksgiving morning.  I am not a RAW fed dog so I wasn't quite sure what I was supposed to do with this.
I decided that I like my dinner cooked instead and refused it.
Did any of you eat a raw turkey neck?
Happy Sunday and welcome to December!

Love ya lots♥
Molly

angel Jade was a raw-food gal and LOVED chook and turkey giblets. Not that she objected to cooked food though... when my chapatti pan came out, she was a model dog... &*> hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  2. Mom cooked up the heart and chopped it up in little pieces. Then she stirred it into our dinner. We don't get raw.

  3. Turkey soup sounds delish especially on such a cold day we are having here.

  4. I love the idea of turkey soup but I'd worry about giving Levi a neck with all those little bones its made of that could get stuck in the digestive system. You were smart to reject it, Molly.

  5. Once in a great while I get a few pieces of raw ground meat. (Very yummy indeed!) But never raw anything else. We usually cook the turkey neck and giblets to make gravy. After that I get to eat the giblets.

    That soup looks delicious!

  6. We didn't cook the turkey this year, so no turkey necks here! I have a feeling Luke would have liked one though.

  13. I have never eaten raw turkey, but Gail says that given the way I enthusiastically consume raw and decomposing rabbits, pheasants, seabirds, seals etc if given half the chance when out for a walk she's pretty sure I wouldn't have turned my nose up at that turkey neck!
    Toodle pip!
