I smell something very familiar to me - something that I LOVE!
Which drawer could they be in?
I found them, Molly!
A whole drawer-full of yummy fabulous feathers!
I just love to chew them apart and scatter the pieces everywhere!
Dad says, "No, Mitch, you can't have my feathers. Each and everyone of them is special to me."
I am not fooled by this mom - it's a fake and it's not funny!
I want the real thing!
We thought you guys might like to see the video that our timber frame buddy, Dana, uploaded to the Northford TimberFramer site. It's a tour of Crumpie's barn!

An Update From the Pond
This is Lucy, the Grey Lag goose. Dad suspects that she might be carrying eggs that will need to be laid soon. The strange thing is that the two male Grey Lags are sweet on each other so how the heck did this happen? Time will tell!
BTW, the waterfowl are not promiscuous like some hoomans can be.
We saw Lucy swimming past one of the nesting boxes yesterday morning. She looked like she was scoping it out for her nest.
These two Barnacle goose girls are Wilma and Betty and they have dibs on the nesting box too. We keep trying to tell the girls that there are 2 nesting boxes but everyone seems to want this one.
This is Barney, the male Barnacle. He constantly lets everyone know that he rules here and no one will inhabit that nesting box but his girls. We're not sure which one he's paired up with.
These are the black swan eggs. Once again, we were lucky to catch Aunt Agnes off the nest. She rarely is. Dad is thinking that the due date might be around May 1st.
And here she is. The best Auntie in the whole wide world! Bless you Aggie! You deserve your break time!
Buster and Hazel have built a sort of make-believe outdoor nest. They are just not interested in being parents this time around.
This is Alice Whooper. She is the new kid here. She flew in from Tennessee on Wednesday. She was actually late getting here and dad was a nervous wreck. She was tired and scared when she arrived but look at her now. She's been enjoying the sunshine and the pond. She's under a year old so she doesn't whoop yet like Angel Whooper does. She is inside the penned area with the black swans so she and Angel have a fence between them. Dad is hoping that the girls will bond in time and be BFF.
So that's the latest news on the waterfowl. We will update if anything exciting happens!
So until next time............

Mr Peabody and Sherman
Does anybody remember the Mr Peabody and Sherman cartoon? It was around in the late 50's and early 60's. That's what we thought, mom - you're ancient! Anyway, Mr Peabody was the smartest scientist-inventor Beagle and Sherman was Mr Peabody's dorky adopted hooman son. They had many nutty adventures together.
We were the winners from Bocci's give-away a couple of weeks ago and our box came in the mail on Monday.
This box weighs about 10 pounds and it's LOADED!
Mom says that this is a timer.
A treat is hidden underneath these cool cups and we get timed to see which one of us is the fastest to find it!
This trick involves seeing which one of us is fastest getting out from underneath the towel
We decided that mom was cheating so we are keeping our own scores. We both got perfect scores and we are both geniuses!
Mom had a treat in front of my nose and I can't see with these stoopid frosted lenses. She was waving it at me and I finally noticed it! Mom was laughing so hard, we thought she was going to wet her pants!
No way am I putting on those dorky glasses! The bow tie is good enough for me!
You really do look pretty funny, Mitch! You wear those glasses soooo well! haha
Thank you so much for choosing us for this give-away, Bocci! We have had the bestest fun with this box!
So until next time...........

MudPups
We got a box in the mail and it came all the way from Australia!
It's from Miss Wendy. She the artist that creates MudPups~
Aren't they just too cute! These pups are Airedales but she does other breeds too. The pictures don't do them justice. They are just fabulous in person! Mom has been drooling over all of Miss Wendy's work and swore one day that she'd own a MudPup. Now she has a trio!
And Miss Wendy sent a surprise in the box - an AireOrnie! This was definitely meant for me because I'm the awesome one, right, Molly?!
Thank you so very much, Miss Wendy!
Your work is absolutely gorgeous and you sure are making our mom smile a lot!
So until next time..............

Belly Bites
We found a box from Chewy on our front porch this morning as we were returning home from our walkies. It rained last night but the treats inside the box were safe!
These Natural Balance Belly Bites are made with chicken and peas and garbanzo beans so that means that they're superhealthy and they're semi-moist which means that the aroma that's coming out of this treat bag is driving us NUTS!
What mom? We have to show you our bellies for a Belly Bite treat?
I'm in! I'll even high-five ya from the floor, mom~
Anything for one of those yummy treats!
It looks like Molly is joining in too!
These treats are awesome! We get more than one because we've worked hard to earn them, right, mom?
Thank you so very much Mr Andrew from Chewy for always sending us the bestest treats in this entire universe! We feel like the luckiest pups alive when your boxes arrive on our doorstep!
So until next time............

My Tennis Ball Hat
Can you believe this or what?
Mom and I were playing our usual tennis ball games while she was preparing the family dindin and as we were playing, she noticed that my tennis ball was splitting in half underneath the fuzzy chartreuse coating so she took her scissors and cut it apart and look what she did to my beautiful tennis ball!
BTW, she sprayed it with TONS of nasty lady's perfume so I wouldn't recognize it anymore and try to steal it back! HELLO!
The woman thinks I'm a dummy! A whole bottle of perfume could never change the way my most precious possession smells!
I tried to remove my half tennis ball off of the hat she made for me and she freaked.
Can you even believe such a thing!
I really, really like it! Can a more perfect hat exist for me?
Thank you, mom! I really do love my new hat.
Oh~
Don't worry. I have tons more tennis balls upstairs just waiting for me to play with them ☺
So until next time............

April Fool
We weren't sure whether to title our post "April fool" - but it really happened and it's no joke
or "March came in like a lion and goes out like a lion" - because it did
or just "Surprise!"
We got a surprise snowstorm yesterday and we bet the most surprised person of all was the weatherman!
It's not much snow but it's still cold and wet and wonderful!
The yellow Witch Hazel looks fabulous snow-covered!
And so do the red Witch Hazel blossoms~
The poor Hellebore is trying to keep her head above the snow~
Angel Whooper and the geese are not minding it one bit.
The Mutes are looking for something to eat that isn't snow-covered!
We're supposed to have a sunny 55 degree day today so the snow will go. It was fun while it lasted!
Happy April first, everybody ☺
