Nature Friday

 We are joining Rosy and Sunny this week for Nature Friday~~

I ran into my friend, Carlie on my walk on Wednesday and again yesterday.  Mom says that I am over the top nutty when I meet up with her and her dad~

We found Toadflax~

At the end of Keri's driveway, we discovered she had planted Zinnias.   They remind mom so much of her Nonna, as Nonna always planted all colors of Zinnias in the summer at her house.

We discovered Balloon flowers near a mailbox~

The red Clematis is so pretty and so full!

We are seeing quite a bit of Yucca this year and it is such a tall plant!

Do you see the bunny underneath the Magnolia bush?   I want so badly for mom to drop my leash so I can chase him but she won't.  SpoilSport!

Watermelon Wednesday

 I'm trying watermelon for the very first time~

Of course, I cleaned my plate!  Watermelon is good stuffs!

Marvelous Monday

 From the time I came to live here with mom, I have been whimpering in my crate from 3:30am till she can't stand it anymore and gets up.  I don't have to do business if that's what you're thinking.  I just want to be out of my crate and be with my mom.  

She's been thinking a lot about what to do about this and finally came up with a plan that she thought could work.

A HUGE box arrived here last week on Friday. 

The plan is that from 9pm till around 1:30am, when mom gets up to take me out to do business, I will sleep in my crate.

After we come back inside around 1:30am, I will be in the bedroom sleeping in my new bed or on the rug in front of it.   I am leashed to the bedpost so I only have 6' of room to explore so I don't get myself into any trouble.  

Now for the fun part!

It's International Box Day all over again☺

Friday night was a positive experience for both me and mom so on Saturday night, I got to sleep from 9pm till 5am in the bedroom, with my leash attached, with mom!   Mom found me at 1am underneath the bed skirt but that's okay as I was being a good boy!   I did the same thing again on Sunday night☺   I am on my way!

Did I mention that I have my own personal fan if the temps get uncomfy for me?!

I sure do like sleeping in the bedroom so much better than sleeping in my crate!

Nature Friday

 We are joining Sunny this week for Nature Friday~~

We are finding lots of blooming Daylilies!

And we found beautiful Oriental Lilies!

The Miss Molly Butterfly Bush is blooming in our yard.   It makes mom sad to see it looking so beautiful as she remembers discovering it a couple of years ago and how happy she was to find that it was named after her sweet girl♥

Thankful Thursday

 We lost our power last night at 1am and didn't get it back until 4:30am.    I was thrilled as mom spent the night in the living room with me with a candle lit and I didn't have to be in my crate!   

Today, I am five months old and mom decided to change up the route on our walk.  It was a very wet morning due to heavy rain last night and lots of tree branches down.   I got to go on a longer walk and sniff lots of new smells!  

Mom says there is nothing more beautiful than blue Hydrangeas!

At home, the pink Beebalm is blooming~

The Moonshine Yarrow is so cheerful!

The Lavender is blooming and mom is cautioning me about being aware of the bees.

The Veronica is in bloom!

Greenies Monday

 My very first Greenie!

Mom says that Molly only tried them once and she woofed them down so fast that she wasn't getting any toofie cleaning benefits.   I'm a good boy and take my time and mom keeps reminding me that I still have little puppy teefs and things could change.

I will enjoy them while I have them!
