We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~~
We have had very mild temps and for December into January, this is a gift. New Year's Eve brought us heavy rain and a thunder and lightning display at midnight with no fireworks. Mom says she doesn't ever remember this happening! Our weather has now changed back from warm to cold and blustery. Winter is back!
We missed walkies for three days and thank goodness we're back to decent weather and we're back out there pounding the pavement once again☺
We did find some moss~We found some pretty berries~Mom and I were both happy just to finally be out and about so we were having fun☺The tree limb guys are in the neighborhood. I can help you out! I'm an English working Cocker Spaniel, ya know!Today is my sissy's birthday! Happy Birthday, Missy!Happy Friday, everyone!Mom doesn't do resolutions and she keeps hearing the word "incentive" so that's what we're going with.
She is going to try to eat healthier and lose the five pounds that she gained since Molly's passing. She has decided that we will be seeing lots of salads around here with spinach~
My sissy's salad contained raw sugar snap peas so we'll be going with those too~And who doesn't like carrots?!And what about the tasty grape tomato~She included provolone cheese, which she wasn't willing to share. And we'll be adding hard boiled eggs too and maybe some chick peas! This hat was supposed to be a Christmas pressie for me.
Thank goodness it didn't fit! It looks so much better on you, Francesca!Paws and fingers are crossed that we see the sun soon. This rain and fog is getting depressing! We are joining Rosy and Sunny this week for Nature Friday~~
Miss Laura has huge ornies hanging from her trees!
We did find mushroom growth~One more African Violet has blossoms on it☺Why aren't these Canada geese afraid of me and flying off?Happy Friday, everyone. I am officially eleven months old today!Missy and Tommy were here Christmas Eve and we had a blast! There were pressies galore and somehow, I managed to find the bag that was for me☺
I was a wee bit wired and moving faster than normal. Missy and Tommy gave me a chew and a rope toy that I love and a squeaky ball. I love squeaky balls!A photo of us♥Tommy gave mom another cement Buffy! Don't they look so happy together!Missy made mom a stained glass portrait of me! Mom says it has to be her most favorite gift♥Christmas morning, we went for a walk. When we got back, it was Christmas all over again! I got a cow stuffy and two more squeaky balls!I sure do love my squeaky balls! You can never have too many, right?!I got my very first BullyStick! My first Christmas was the best ever!I can't wait to hear what Santa brought all of you!Yesterday, mom and I made Nonna's Ricotta Pie. It does have chocolate bits in it so mom was very careful what I tasteTested.
The pie just out of the oven. The eggs make it puff. It will deflate a little bit as it cools. After baking, mom and I went outside to get some nice cold fresh air!She called me silly Dukey~She called me handsome Dukey! She finally got a great shot of my Cocker Spaniel smirk~Merry Christmas Eve everyone! This snow was much different from my first snow. This time it was fluffy and not so wet and more fun but mom says it's still not enough.
I got it!I'm diving for it, mom!We are joining Rosy and Sunny this week for Nature Friday~~
We have had a crazy week. It was cold and then it turned mild for a few days and now it's back to cold and it's going to get even colder!
We found a pumpkin tossed into the woods~We discovered that Miss Amy raised the price of a Christmas tree by five dollars. It's been thirty dollars for a good long time!I'm getting into the Christmas spirit on my walks! Can you see my Rudolf nose?!☺Happy Friday, everyone! The larger size boots arrived on Tuesday and mom went grocery shopping on Tuesday and came home with a nice surprise for me.
Can you tell which one I liked better?!
