Nature Friday

We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~~

The leaves are dropping!
We are still seeing red leaves on our walks but not as many now~
They sure do have lots of squash at this home.   Maybe they intend to make a pie or soup out of them?!
Back at home, our red maple still hasn't lost all of her leaves but she's working on it~
Happy Friday, everyone!
Love ya lots♥
Duke

  1. Duke, it's easy to see that you are also wearing your beautiful red leaves. What delightful pictures you have today.

  2. Amazing you still have leaves on the trees! They are long gone around here. Mom says squash make such pretty decorations but we don't have any, maybe next year. Have a fun weekend!

  6. You are so a model for Fall!

Hope they will take those squashes to a local farm if they don't intend to turn them into tasty foodables - the animals will relish them!

We have quite the leaf piles - but since we do not have trees that contributed, we let them be - and let them run free!

  7. In a couple of pictures it almost looks as if you're wearing a red leaf hat, Duke. 🙂 You make everything more stylish!

  10. Happy Friday to you, too! Nice colors all around you! We have most of our leaves muched... Those big thick hairy vines from a older post, well, I have pulled and cut down lots of those off our trees in the woodsy part of our yard, and they are virginia creeper...I think that is what yours are, too. At least I don't think it's poison ivy. You could ask Mr Google or a plant ID app.
Woofs and licks to you! Hugs to the humans!

  13. The red maples are doing so well keeping their leaves but then they will all probably drop at the same time and you will have lots of leaves to rake! We hope the weather stays nice for your walks. Hugs & Love, Susie & Coco xx
